So bit of denim advice ladies. I have never bought a pair of premium jeans and wonder if this should be the month I invest. Anyway what ones do you recommend?

Judging by the some of the sizes mentioned earlier, think I have bigger bum am curvier than most on here but I do normally wear skinnies (albeit with longish tops/shirts).

But someone Blair? was talking about skinny flares which sound appealing. Used to have a new look pair that I wore til they fell apart (pre dd2) and haven't bought another. They are a bit annoying in the rain but do love the slight hippy look you get.

thanks Ruby, unfortunately the ones they have have a massive studded bow on the front. Otherwise they'd be good to try as they're reduced - here. I'm very fussy :(

Ime premium jeans are really trial and error, you either know your body shape really well and do lots of reading about which styles suit certain shapes and leg lengths etc (read reviews), or go to a dept store/donna ida etc and try lots then buy online from the US to get them cheaper. A bit like bras :(

If you think your bum is proportionally big, maybe a higher rise would help as I find it holds everything in better and you don't get that gape at the back or the waist.

Last pair of very high rise ones I had left me holding my breath - too tight? But low rise not great for muffin top, i do miss my pre-babies tummy.

Marant boots for Ruby.

I am a size 3.5/4 in shoes (skinny little feet, narrow heels) so most things don't fit me perfectly and either have to be stretched from a 3 or plugged with insoles etc. I fear I may have dissed the Newbs a bit too much - I still like them enough to keep them, but if they start to piss me off (and you have little feet too), you will be first on my list.

Amber DD2 has an army-ish green Kanken mini and it's v cool. I see more of them when I'm in Denmark (all the cool kids there have them).

The skinny le something or other... are teeny tiny and won't even go up my thighs.
They're a nice colour though and very soft.

Grumpy they are beautiful, sadly am at least half a shoe size bigger than you so can't offer to increase your cpw with those as well as the r&b ones

I agree they are very comfortable, And you shouldn't worry about getting them wet I got them wet many times, and they look good,we are very much alike

umlauf fixing iPads sometimes costs just as much as getting a new one,

There's a slight turquoise tint to them which didn't suit me Ruby.
With a white tee and hav's in summer, they'd be great.
