A safe place to talk fashion stuff. Bring a passion for fashion (high end or high street), a positive state of mind and lots of links.

Hope DD enjoys her party, Liberty. I am going to return the second DVF shirt I bought from Matches too. Bad quality, Diane! Matches still haven't replied to me, I am irked!

Because, I am here on Pinterest.

MarshaBrady · 05/01/2014 11:01

Liberty have a fabulous party, it will be very sweet.

Shop good work on the Ganni.

Decam irk for you!

BrandyAlexander · 05/01/2014 11:08

Morning all. No overnight illnesses at chez Novice thank goodness but dd seems to be in full flow of night time separation anxiety and came to see me 4 times. It's exhausting.

Because this is me on Pinterest. You will see I am both clothes and house obsessed at the moment. And errm the Lakeland stuff is really me.Blush

BecauseIsaidS0 · 05/01/2014 12:08

No tucked up by the open fire watching movies with the family. Happy Sunday all. Will get the papers in a mo.

Annianni · 05/01/2014 14:32

I love those shoes Shop, hope you can get them.

Dry I did wonder about you painting stair rods :o

I'll join in with an irk Decam, that's shocking quality for DvF.

I've been sometimes lurking Marsha.
Same old issues at home. Still not talking about it...
Dh is off work this coming week.
Think we need to spend some time just us not bloody likely with Ds2 about

We (ds2, dh and i) were crammed playing in Ds2's new tent/wendy house thing yesterday, and dh gave me a kiss and Ds2 wiped it off me! :o
He did it several times, was quite funny.

Annianni · 05/01/2014 14:33

I want a waffle maker now...

OneLittleLady · 05/01/2014 14:40

Anni we've got a waffle maker and DP makes me basil and mozzarella waffles. they are amazing

Annianni · 05/01/2014 14:45

EnvyOne!!!

I like the shape of the Boden boots Grumpy, but not keen on that print.
I've got some chocolate brown Prada boots like that, but they're too small for me now
Should put them on the ebay pile I suppose...

OneLittleLady · 05/01/2014 14:49

Linus thanks for the tip off about feelunique, they had exactly the stuff I've been using with money off so have grabbed some Thanks

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 05/01/2014 18:09

lalalalala (waffles, yum)

Hope you're all enjoying your Sundays.

Picked the leopard FC coat up today. Brought it home, tried it on, put it straight back in the bag to return. The issues:

  1. It's furry. Ish, anyway. Looked like ordinary heavy wool in the pic.
  2. It comes down to my knees when, for some reason, I was expecting it to be mid-thigh.
  3. It has no fastenings whatsoever and as I would expect to wear it racing/out generally I would like to be able to do it up if needed.

Shame, as it looked a good buy at half price.

santamarianovella · 05/01/2014 18:21

ani that's sweet of your ds,he obviously doesn't like sharing!
Spending time alone with your dh is the best thing to,maybe ask someone to babysit?

shop that's a shame, they are really gorgeous.and your lunch is sounds yummy!

I had my hair cut and colored today, not sure about it,its nice, but I think they gave me a Katie M hair, and not the Penelope cruz cut and colour,I showed them, will wait a few days before pinning as am still at that shock / what have i done/should have waited stage.

BecauseIsaidS0 · 05/01/2014 18:32

Are wedge trainers terribly out of fashion already? I've just seen these for the first time (remember, I'm a size UK 2 so not easy to find shoes in my size) and as I mostly wear skinny jeans when off duty, they could be a worthy addition to my wardrobe...

Drywhiteplease · 05/01/2014 18:56

Gosh those waffles did sound delicious ShopEnvy
Anni sweet DS, poor DH ....?Maybe you need a rendezvous in the tent sans DS Wink
Grumpy shame about the coat.
Santa I'm sure you still look stunning Smile

So, I shortened my new jeans. Was VERY careful and the look great....turns out my legs are shorter than I thought Sad. Grumps hope you like yours when they come.
Then.....I took down all my decs, house is lovely and tidy and smells of polish --not for long though-/
And I listed all my Ebay stuff and spent most of the money, oops, on a hi vis running top, oh yes, I am a fashionistaGrin

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 05/01/2014 19:02

Did you shorten the jeans yourself Dry?

shopafrolic · 05/01/2014 19:14

Well done Dry I didn't get any EBaying done today!

Shame about the coat Grumpy I had high hopes for that!
Have been reading all the articles in the Sunday supplements about quitting sugar. Lots of info to think about. It got me going through all the ingredients in my kitchen cupboards and having a check of all the labels and sorting things out. I don't want to lose anymore weight (am now 10st 3lbs which is lower than on my wedding day), but I need to get stronger. I've emailed about doing a 2nd Pilates class, and am going to see the doctor about my back problem as it's becoming too tricky to lift DS now and I am in pain every evening. I'm not sure what other exercise I can do until I get it fixed.......
Will be spending this week clearing through more cupboards and getting New Year sorted - love the feeling of a fresh start and new plans.

shopafrolic · 05/01/2014 19:21

Oh and the good news is that DH is up for healthy eating too (he's usually a wine and chocolate man and tends to eat a lot of rubbish) - I was very surprised he was so interested.

OP posts:
BecauseIsaidS0 · 05/01/2014 19:27

Shop, have you considered an inversion table? I bought one for about £80 for a back problem and it's been a life saver.

shopafrolic · 05/01/2014 19:33

Thanks because but for reasons too detailed to go into it wouldn't work for me unfortunately.

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 05/01/2014 19:34

Oh Shop I hope the doctor can do something for your pain.

I set up a new pin board of items I am considering buying this year (some need to be saved for) and would appreciate your opinions ladies, if you have a minute to spare to take a peek Smile
