A safe place to talk fashion stuff. Bring a passion for fashion (high end or high street), a positive state of mind and lots of links.

mig pm!

MarshaBrady · 10/01/2014 17:09

Well the other thread has pretty much died. So it would be fab to move on.

Linus love that jumper, I think I saw it earlier, I may have ordered it at some point, I can't remember! And love the shirt. The only thing is I'm having a spending break after my sales splurge.

Annianni · 10/01/2014 17:21

Thanks Queenc.
Dh wasn't impressed though, he looked at me like I was deranged when I read them out to him :o

Amber people were totally out of order, bringing up ancient history about you. Flowers

But I agree with Shop, that thread should be avoided now.

Now... I think I have lost 6lbs in 2 weeks whilst peddling away on my bike

The navy Boden sweater arrived and it's going straight back. I ordered a smaller size to my grey but it doesn't hang straight.
And my grey one is starting to pill and look scruffy after only 3 wears.
Going to email them later, see what they say.

MarshaBrady · 10/01/2014 17:23

Dry agree on social kissing. I loathe it when people use actual lip to cheek contact .

Amber don't feel you have to go.

Frames still sitting untried.

shopafrolic · 10/01/2014 17:25

Ganni sweater has finally despatched. Not sure I want it now. AR take note of NaP delivery times.
I've made a mental note for next time I see you Marsha. No lip contact Grin

Tbh I'm mostly thinking of mil, as much as I don't like to say bad things too eurgh. She needs to learn our family's art of air kissing, the mwah mwah. Not too close.

shopafrolic · 10/01/2014 17:33

My hairdresser is the absolute pro on that

Annianni · 10/01/2014 17:36

If I ever get to a MU, I'm going to lick Marsha :o

I knew you would have that book Dry!

MarshaBrady · 10/01/2014 17:37

Lol! Grin

LinusDKD · 10/01/2014 18:31

anni well done!

Oh marsha was that the jumper that was too gauzy IRL? I vaguely remember that!

amber please don't mind what some idiots say whilst hiding behind their internet persona.

santa I saw some lovely Isabel Marant Etoile S/S 14 jackets in the shop today. Were you wearing one in the puc you pinned?

OneLittleLady · 10/01/2014 18:37

Well, today has been my first proper outing with the walking stick, trains and everything! Encountered some lovely people who kindly gave up their seats for me as they were easier for me to get to and an absolute gentle giant of a man (I swear, he really was near seven feet tall, DP is six foot and he was much much taller) with a very pretty face helped me on and off the train. Altogether a success.

fashion wise, pretty boring today, knee length flared skirt with PU trims, dark purple opaques, lace trimmed black vest, black cardi and black boots. pretty safe all things considered

MarshaBrady · 10/01/2014 18:39

Linus possibly. I think you might be right.

I'd love a Marant jacket for Spring. I tried on in Liberty that was sooo nice. I might get it when my voucher finally arrives!

LinusDKD · 10/01/2014 19:10

I might have found another cobalt/indigo bag to replace the (sold out everywhere) Pashli in my affections.

Céline

I don't even want to google what the price is because I might be in for a shock.

They also have it in a lovely green.

MarshaBrady · 10/01/2014 19:12

um. swoon

OneLittleLady · 10/01/2014 19:19

that bag is lovely Linus

shopafrolic · 10/01/2014 19:26

Phwoar Linus

MarshaBrady · 10/01/2014 19:56

Silver meant to say I'm so pleased you love the coat. But no I wouldn;t do eBay too much faff. I'd go for exchange first.

Drywhiteplease · 10/01/2014 20:16

Oh good god, look what I've seen from another thread gorgeous zip satchel. Swoon.

BrandyAlexander · 10/01/2014 20:21

It's a lovely bag isn't it? OP was comparing it to a Marcie though and said she's quite a formal person, hence I suggested the Marcie. I don't normally like Anya but that's lovely!

Dry are you a 2.55 person? (I genuinely mean the bag not the thread!) I could see how it would really suit you, though not me.

QueenCadbury · 10/01/2014 20:26

the new kate

LinusDKD · 10/01/2014 20:26

See I like Anya Hindmarch bags but they are definitely a UK thing because her brand is virtually unknown in the rest of Europe.

I am still lusting after that red Valorie clutch that has sold out. Not that I need a clutch. Wink

QueenCadbury · 10/01/2014 20:27

Am I the only person not to like the Marcie Confused. I just don't get the appeal of it
