Marsha hope you don't mind

BecauseIsaidS0 · 03/01/2014 19:12

Sorry, I meant Santa for the link!

MarshaBrady · 03/01/2014 19:13

Thanks Because, lovely berry bag.

Oh yes they are lovely Santa. I'd go for that colour too (blush Lanvins still on the list of course).

Drywhiteplease · 03/01/2014 19:27

How do these bloggers, in their lovely outdoor photos, never look cold! Bare legs in winter? Pink peonies had open toed shoes in the snow the other day Shock I did do that one N Year but I took a taxiWink

BecauseIsaidS0 · 03/01/2014 19:28

I just asked the same question on the Style Blogs thread and someone said "thermal underwear"!

Drywhiteplease · 03/01/2014 19:31

"Styles blog thread"? On MN Because off to have a look!

BecauseIsaidS0 · 03/01/2014 19:33

here!!!

santamarianovella · 03/01/2014 19:35

Thanks because ,don't know what happened, I never saw them reduced, and they were the perfect shade for SS,the stain is very faint but I couldn't look past it.

marsha I saw a navy/ black lanvin flats, gorgeous. Had a look at marant shoes too ,and I'm loving the Jenny and decker boots, really considering getting one,

BecauseIsaidS0 · 03/01/2014 19:42

Santa, try adding a space between the link and the words you want displayed, eg blah.com WORDS

OneLittleLady · 03/01/2014 20:50

I would love to start a style blog and inflict my dress sense on the world at large but I'd be too worried about people laughing at me or something Hmm

BecauseIsaidS0 · 03/01/2014 20:52

One, try Wordpress, it's a fairly easy to use, rather good blogging platform. You will find that most people are really nice. The nasties only crawl in once a blog gets very popular, and at that point one has to just make a choice to ignore them.

OneLittleLady · 03/01/2014 20:58

Might give it a go because Smile I have plenty of time on my hands and it might actually be an interesting exercise that helps improve my self confidence as well as showing off my awesome style Wink

QueenCadbury · 03/01/2014 20:59

I'm home!!! It's effing freezing though (12 degrees) as a switch must have tripped and the boiler was off. Sitting now in pjs with blanket and warm fire!

mig I really hope that documentary gets aired in uk. I might be able to find it online otherwise.

dry I reckon bloggers get their photos taken and then put on their proper clothes! Either that or they get cabs everywhere.

QueenC I think your karaoke session will go down in MNV history! I laughed so much and have been singing "Islands in the stream" all day , thank you sleep Grin you were hilarious.

Yes, I reckon it's like a photo shoot....in a cab all wrapped up in a down coat, strip off for photo, grit teeth, whizz home to a hot bath and trackies!

foxysocks · 03/01/2014 21:19

just rushing in v quickly - what do you guys wear on long haul flights?! i don't feel i've ever nailed it.

QueenCadbury · 03/01/2014 21:21

I think our karaoke session will go fown in family history too. My dns(11 and 13yo) certinly found me very amusing! It was also all recorded Hmm

QueenCadbury · 03/01/2014 21:22

foxy I last did a long haul 9 years ago. Wore normal clothes but took my pjs to put on to change into and sleep! When you off to India?

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 03/01/2014 21:22

Foxy I go for skinnies, flats or Pettys and an easily washable jumper. I assume it will be grim by the time I land.

foxysocks · 03/01/2014 21:28

sunday. feel v stressed. still no j crew tees and the ash boots situation has suddenly got v complicated too.

i am erring towards converse and jeans. maybe with tee or hush vest, and grey sweater or charcoal cashmere wrap? then take leggings and thick socks for the plane??

Annianni · 03/01/2014 21:31

Anyone watching cbb?
Liz Jones is going in...

MarshaBrady · 03/01/2014 21:31

Yes that sounds good. I don't change into pjs but leggings sound fab. Go for sweater I think. Argh on the j crew ts, am shaking fist for you.

Mignonette · 03/01/2014 21:36

LJ on CBB? Have I just hallucinated this?

shopafrolic · 03/01/2014 21:38

HATE her. Good thing I haven't watched it for years.

shopafrolic · 03/01/2014 21:40

Foxy I haven't done long haul since 2008 but yes to your outfit. Comfort, slouchy socks and lots of layers have always been my thing. And a blanket for that freezing air con!

QueenCadbury · 03/01/2014 21:46

Sounds good foxy. I get so bloated and uncomfortable on planes that I definitely couldn't do the whole journey in jeans. Leggings sounds great. What's the ash boots situation?
