Happy new year barbie and happy new year to everyone else. I'm doing a quick catch up with everything online now as not sure how much time I'll have to use my iPad later. Today is MIL birthday so we're having a 3 course meal later. I'm doing mozzarella, tomato and avocado salad to start and then I've already baked 2 cheesecakes (baileys and white chocolate). Dh is busy preparing beef Wellington. BIL is setting up the karaoke and the prosecco is in the fridge. I shall be wearing the coast sequin top with either navy crops or jeans (depending how fat i am) but will be accessorised with slippers as I forgot my silver sandals!

Grumpy glad the wedding was lovely, elegant sounds perfect. That jumper is gorgeous, love the shift especially that colour, love that your jacket is Ruby&Ed too (hadn't heard of them until the other day) and lovely coat. What great shopping.

Beautiful dress Justa and you have made me think I NEED some nude flats! What a bargain on the R&B ones. Love the Cos jumper too.

Grumpy sounds like you need to get some lovely bath oils (as per *Barbie's recommendations) and have a complete chill out session. Love the little fur jacket - very you. Really like the Me&Em jumper too.

My delivery from Atterley Road arrived yesterday - very disappointed with the scarf. The one I received is purple rather than blue and the colour is faded around the edges - back it goes. The AV dress is fabulous! Really love it. Will pin a pic in the next day or two.

I'm at work today - wearing black ankle boots, levi curve straight leg black jeans and APC knit.

Lots of lovely sales shopping. QueenC's coat, Novice's and Justa's bags stand out (love coats and bags!).

Foxy, J Crew are really fast. I only ever got New Year's Day off in the US.

Not that I want to be an enabler but I have those Goldsign jeans on Anna and they are a good buy.

We live in SW London, I never notices the planes any more and my children have never mentioned them. I will look out for you in Richmond, Liberty, it's v. close and I go there a lot. I love London but keen now to move back to where I am from to a house by the sea so the kids can go sailing like we did, and have more space. There is a possibility we may go back to New York again for a few years though but I liked it there a lot.

Barbie, for how long are you in Korea? My DD2 is two, I occasionally wear Lulu Lemon leggings but that's about it. I started following you on Pinterest (SuzeM).

I'm all shopped out and have moved onto sheets and luggage now. I bought this summer top, this shirt because I liked the navy one I got so much, a coat I pinned on MNV a while ago and this bag. I've been wearing the Me & Em dresses I bought before Christmas a lot.

Decameron and liberty I went to the panto in Richmond on Boxing Day. V refined.....not like raucous Northern pantos at all.
Ruby I was in Sainsburys at the same time....hell!
Grumpy I saw that TS shift yesterday, looked v nice....and I often steal my little sis' style, surely what they're there for Wink
Right, amazingly, the Paige skinnies from Caven arrived this morning. They are v nice, loads of stretch......but just not nice enough. Sorry Shop I'm VERY difficult to please jeans wise. My eternal search for the perfect jean is a lot like Annis boot search last year. I will try not to go on too much.........

Super shopping Decam - adore everything, esp that fantabulous coat!

Round to our lovely neighbours tonight for supper and will try not to make it last until midnight - I'd like to be in jammies long before then. Racing again tomorrow, but NYD usually a very busy, festive meeting and a great day out. We have an invitation to our owners' private box with a delicious and never-ending supply of food and drink throughout the day, so no hardship at all!

About to head into town to return JW jacket and may just pop into Comptoir des Cotonniers a few doors down. Taking cards, just in case...
