The rain has stopped and I've just been a countryside cliche in barbour and hunters Grin

liberty I'm planning on cutting out down sugar in the new year. And possibly dairy too. I started having almond milk on my porridge and was getting on fine with it until I run out, had normal milk and realised how much nicer it tastes!

On NYE dh and I have been umming and ahing over getting people together at fave place. But have decided to wait until ds2 is back at nursery this week and have a luxurious champagne lunch instead and maybe see a film together at the cinema. It's been about 7 years since we did that!

So, the Mint Velvet order arrived at exactly the time they said . Good on DPD,why can't other companies deliver so well? Anyway, I'm keeping this top which is not my usual style but really nice and dd has her eye on it so that's a good sign I guess.
2014 hasn't even started and I've failed on one of my NY resolutions already!Grin

Marsha lunch and cinema sounds fabulous. What will you do on NYE then?
We have a 3rd birthday party to go to in the morning but that's about it. Have bought breaded prawns, peppered steak and frites and a lemon cream dessert with fizz for a lovely yummy dinner a deux in the evening.

I had a bad scallop once and from then on I get a terrible upset tummy.
Once took an American senior colleague to loch fyne for dinner in Henley on Thames, ate scallops and other yummy things. Asked for bill, went to ladies whilst bill was being prepared. It was an hour and a half before I got back to the table!!! Bless my colleague, she never commented, we paid the bill, I was white as a sheet! Blush

Hi everyone, sorry been awol for a bit, I need to go back and catch up properly. Hope everyone had good christmas. My bday this week, went to Bicester and got my present from DH, the Kate spade bag on pin and some Tory Burch flats, will find a pic and pin them too.
I may have bought a few things in the sales too Blush will be back to pin them later.

DS has just gone to a mixed sleepover party yikes girls and booze shudders told DH to give him a man to man in the car. I just said "don't throw up on their carpet"
Looked cool in NB brown trainers, TopMan skinny chinos and a long sleeved burgundy tshirt with digital print photo on front. Spent a while doing his hair. A chip off the old block!Grin
