Continuing on from here
A happy and safe place to talk fashion (from high end to high street), beauty and the arts. All welcome to bring a positive state of mind, lots of links and an eye for detail. Lurkers...... you know you want to..........

mig I just thought you might like it as it is similar to the Burberry but without the Harry Styles and other slebs association.

I have never heard of that brand though, so have no idea about quality.

I am sitting in my pj's and a lovely woollen cardigan with a glass of wine, all ready for the GBBO final. [old fogey emoticon]

OneLittleLady · 22/10/2013 18:39

Not much fashion to report, just a quick word to say today is another good day. Wearing navy skinnies, a purple ribbed vest, chunky knit pure white cardigan and black velvet slipper flats. Even my sister said the white really lit up my face and a compliment from her is a rarity!

AmberNectarine · 22/10/2013 18:43

Oh I hated me before you. I though it was trite nonsense

mignonnetteZOMBIEKILLEROFHQ · 22/10/2013 18:45

I love being a young (ish) fogey Linus. I even went birdwatching the other day and saw Kingfishers.

I am wearing DH's cream cotton rib Kenzo sweater (years old before they got cool again) with a black Ponte A line Sportsmax skirt, black wool tights and my Paul Smith heeled brogue style pumps. Pretty formal dress for me. No reason.

shopafrolic · 22/10/2013 19:35

Lots of family IL shite exploding around me. I am hiding and drinking wine.
Me before you is a mindless read, a bit weepy, v cheesy. Sometimes I find mindless works for me :)
So Marsha do we get to see pics of the jacket?

mig I would love to see a kingfisher.

I loved me before you and blubbed lots!

About to look through all the jewellery links.

MarshaBrady · 22/10/2013 20:41

Pic tomorrow! Got changed into pjs so could wash outfit.

Novice sounds like a certain exquisite kind of torture. Valentino v non-sleeping child.

LinusDKD · 22/10/2013 20:43

Valium. Works every time. Wink

QueenCadbury · 22/10/2013 20:43

Meant to ask, do any of you wear knee high riding type boots anymore? I didn't wear mine last year as they felt dated but I tried them in yesterday and although they still feel dated I'd forgotten how much better they look on me thn calf or ankle length.

BrandyAlexander · 22/10/2013 20:44

Lol! Sigh.

MarshaBrady · 22/10/2013 20:45

I'd love to have some QueenC but I always get side tracked by other things.

OneLittleLady · 22/10/2013 20:51

Poor you novice fingers crossed DS sleeps soon, it must be hard to leave the box sat there, just calling your name

LinusDKD · 22/10/2013 20:52

I have some queenc but I haven't worn them in a while.

Probably because they are brown and I seem to wear skirts and dresses that look better with black boots or shoes.

Drywhiteplease · 22/10/2013 21:19

QueenC now, I'm not quite what you'd call "edgy" but I have two pairs, one brown, one black, that I wear to work with skirts I know I'll be expelled from MNV . Calf length works for me with skinnies but, being short of leg only one, the other's long I find calf with skirts looks bloody terrible so just grin and bare it and do the riding boot which makes my leg look a lot longer Smile....
One so happy to hear you sounding positive about yourself. Life is much better when you like you Smile
Shop surviving?
Novice have you knocked him out yet? Love how you thought of me today with your yellow Nancy.
My kitchen is looking awesome now the lighting is up. Will pin a pic when table arrives and walls are painted. Thrilled!
Off to read some crap.

Drywhiteplease · 22/10/2013 21:21

Novice remember when my bag was taken in by my neighbours and then they went out? Similar feeling I guess....I sympathise Grin

OneLittleLady · 22/10/2013 21:32

Thanks Dry I'm trying hard to be positive, not just about myself but about everything really. I'm getting there, still having more bad than good days but baby steps still take you forwards don't they Smile

BrandyAlexander · 22/10/2013 21:41

Right, the verdict.....I am not sure!Confused They feel comfortable and are the right size but I am not sure I felt smokin' wearing them. It might be because I was wearing them with my bright red pjs! But they made my feet look big, which looks weird on me. So I am trying them on again in the morning and if I am still not sure they're going back. For £550, I ought to be purring in them.

OneLittleLady · 22/10/2013 21:46

if they aren't right in the morning novice then they aren't right and for what you paid for them, they need to be right. if you decide to send them back, I'm sure you'd be able to find something that made you feel like purring

BrandyAlexander · 22/10/2013 21:48

Too right One! Since this thread, I am not afraid to send things backGrin nice to hear you so chirpy!

shopafrolic · 22/10/2013 21:53
