Does anyone know which shops in Central London sell Ash Jalouses?

DH is going to London this week and asked if I needed anything.

OneLittleLady · 21/10/2013 20:51

I may have found my winter coat. it's 80% wool as well so should be toasty. Would link but I can't find it online. It's from BHS which puts me off slightly but is the right shape and in purple like I wanted so I will go and try on and see if it fits before I commit to it.

shopafrolic · 21/10/2013 20:52

Nope Marsha no good for you I don't think. That's what I love though. We could both wear the coats, in the two colours and look completely different.
Feedback from house viewing - they loved it but don't want to live in the villages. WHY LOOK THERE THEN?!!!!!!
Rant over.
My fabulous friend has just hypno-birthed her second son AT HOME. Amazing. I can visit next week. Excited beyond belief.
Dry you need to watch the Tunnel too. Lots of French speaking bits. Love it. here

Thanks shop!

DH is staying near Green Park so I guess HoF on Oxford Street is the closest.

MrsRadicchio · 21/10/2013 21:09

There is an ash shop on Marylebone High Street Linus

Breasted Pea Coat/595413Z,en_GB,pd.html?dwvar_595413Z_color=05500&dwvar_595413Z_size=8&start=8&cgid=womens-outlet&srule=price-high-to-low navy coat here outlet50 gives £50 off £100 spend. Hugely oversized went down 2 sizes for best fit. Lovely soft wool cashmere blend

RubyLovesShopping · 21/10/2013 22:41

And these are the boots that are never ever going to be in stock in my size. So I need to decide- do I buy some beautiful dubarry boots with the money instead... But would look a fool wearing them in the city centre. Or do I split the budget and spend £100 on some dubarry-esque boots and the remainder on some biker boots?
Really need to get to a city for a trying on session. No chance this week or next.

Sleepwhenidie · 21/10/2013 22:44

Hey Shop I have just emailed you re food diary. Hope its some use Smile xx

OneLittleLady · 21/10/2013 23:05

sleep would you still be willing to look at mine? it's ok if you don't have time, you're under no obligation Smile

Sleepwhenidie · 21/10/2013 23:10

Of course One, no problem. PM me when you have it ready and I can let you know my email address Smile.

OneLittleLady · 21/10/2013 23:25

Thanks sleep I'm hoping it isn't actually too bad as I do try to make an effort with decent food and portion control. I've even managed to get DP to at least try veg as he has always always refused to eat it, he's now willing to at least try things and has found that he actually likes some of them!

Drywhiteplease · 22/10/2013 07:34

Shop'the Tunnel looks good. Will try to download first 2 episodes. We have sky but I never know what's coming up so hardly watch it. Missed homeland.....feel a box set coming on.

Horrendous WIFI issues! Driving me nuts

MarshaBrady · 22/10/2013 07:38

Early mornings to meet people about work is one of my favourite things. Leaving the breakfast etc for someone else for a bit. Bliss!

MarshaBrady · 22/10/2013 07:48

It's really mild.

Decameron · 22/10/2013 08:32

I see Dubarry boots around here (SW London), they don't look silly, Ruby. Nice coat.

BrandyAlexander · 22/10/2013 09:21

Morning all! Have got my yellow Nancy this morning so was thinking if DrySmile

LinusDKD · 22/10/2013 09:33

Thanks mrsr! I hope DH will have time to do some shopping as he's only there for a day and flying back the next morning.

He also suggested we both come to London for a couple of days between Christmas and New Year to do some shopping.

Is it bad of me to have thought it was a shame that DH was coming along because it would mean I couldn't meet up with all of you and drink too much prosecco ? Blush

MarshaBrady · 22/10/2013 10:24

I got paid, oh I do love prompt payers! Smile

Shame I have to offload a whole lot to the nursery. Damn!

Really nice to see that 30 days means 30 days. .

Linus I don't blame you!

Ruby I couldn't see your coat for some reason. Is it the leather trim one?

LinusDKD · 22/10/2013 10:43

marsha not sure these are your style but they are shearling lined.

boots

QueenCadbury · 22/10/2013 10:44

I'm gutted. Today and tomorrow was meant to be my training days for my volunteering work. Am I there? No, I'm on the sofa cuddling dd who was incosolable at nursery complaining of earache. Of course, after some calpol she's happy. If only she'd complained of earache prior to nursery i could have drugged her up.
