Me - and yes I wear both but they are completely different. One M&S white and black check, and the peacoat in a rust colour....

I found it funny!

I saw the Chloe but never thought to tell you Marsha... sorry...

Mint Velvet boyfriend jeans are here (i love JL click & collect)and they have the highest waist EVER!!
Higher than Goldsign high rise...
Dare I say it, even higher than m&s jeans :o

They are big size wise too.
Nice soft denim though.

Oh well, they can be returned tomorrow with the Gap ones too.

Grin at Shop. I feel awful for any answer other than OK. DH wants to ride round the USA on a Harley.

shopafrolic · 21/10/2013 12:50

What the hell has happened to your username Mig?!

Just had to do a work call with two dc here. They stayed in another room, phew!

Mig Loewe bag or Miu Miu coat? Was it Miu Miu

mignonnetteZOMBIEKILLEROFHQ · 21/10/2013 12:53

I have gone slightly off piste for Halloween Shop. I will get tired of it by tonight and revert back to my little French name.

Marsha You have reminded me of the Miu Miu coat. Oh dear. This is not going to end well for the total left over for DH's mid life crisis!

foxysocks · 21/10/2013 13:09

ohhhhhh peacoat! what size did you get M? IT40 sold out, would a 42 drown me I wonder?

foxysocks · 21/10/2013 13:17

7K mig!!! GET THE COAT.

am wearing new shorts today. i absolutely LOVE them. perfect slightly slouchy fit, cute pleats, great material and not too short short. wearing with olive cashmere sweater, opaques and flat slouchy boots.

also ordered those patchwork boyf jeans like amber's last night, think they could be great for travelling/india. am so over my entire india wardrobe, i just want to take normal clothes on this trip.

shop i hope the next viewings improve, it's hard when you are so emotionally invested. xx

Talking of Halloween, DS has been invited (today!) to a Halloween party this weekend and hates dressing up. What do I do?

We have some non-spooky dressing up clothes (dr, chef and fireman) but he will probably refuse te wear them. So I bought some face paint to maybe draw some fangs and blood on his face.

Any other suggestions?

Oh and do DH and I have to get dressed up as well seeing as we will be accompanying DS?

Halloween was a typical AngloSaxon tradition when I was a child so I was never really exposed to it and DH spent most of his childhood outside the UK so he doesn't have a clue either.

I have stocked up on treats for the trick or treating as last year I was caught by surprise (having only given birth to DD a week earlier) and had to hand out cereal bars. Blush

MarshaBrady · 21/10/2013 13:18

Foxy I got the IT40 I dithered between the 40 and 42. Not sure if made the right decision. I found it really hard to decide. If I am 40 you definitely are.

LinusDKD · 21/10/2013 13:18

Oh and get the coat mig!

MarshaBrady · 21/10/2013 13:18

If mine is too small and yours is too big we could swap!

MarshaBrady · 21/10/2013 13:21

Linus ds1 doesn't like dressing up either. So I asked him and he said a ghost. (A ghost with allergy season eyes... umm not sure you need that last part Grin)

Annianni · 21/10/2013 13:26

THANKYOU40 gets you a £40 gift card, if you spend £100 or more on Atterley Road before midnight on Tuesday.

Annianni · 21/10/2013 13:27

Mig Envy

You have to try the coat :o

mignonnetteZOMBIEKILLEROFHQ · 21/10/2013 13:31

Foxy your outfit sounds truly cool.

My coat. I cannot spend £1,500 on a coat that will probably be reduced to £750 soon and that I won't get huge amounts of wear out of. I have to try to risk waiting for the sales. If it is reduced I will buy it.

Also at £750, I could get my bag too Halloween Grin

Annianni · 21/10/2013 13:35

It's beautiful Mig

foxysocks · 21/10/2013 13:43

yes good thinking mig. 750 much better. I do feel pretty cool, wasn't sure whether that's the outfit or the diazepam tbh.....

marsha only 42 left now which I think will be too big looking at the model. GREAT coat though, good shopping.

I have bought a playmobil take along unicorn castle for DDs birthday this morning. only £10 on amazon, am v pleased as she will love it and means her birthday is now sorted. she has that, a dress from her brother and some new slippers to match mine Grin.

also had a great idea for her christmas present - I have one of those old 70s wooden lift top desks in the loft, the ones with the ink wells etc. we are going to sand it down and paint it up, then fill with crafty bits and bobs - coloured card and paper, a set of felt tips, some sparky paints, a sticky mosaics set etc. we are on a strict budget for presents this year so it fits with the minimal cost = max impact and I know she will LOVE it.

mignonnetteZOMBIEKILLEROFHQ · 21/10/2013 13:44

That is a cool outfit Foxy and I hope your pain is reducing now. I would like a Unicorn castle too. The desk idea is fabulous. I am a stationery geek so that would have been a dream gift.

LinusDKD · 21/10/2013 13:52

I'm not sure I want to ask DS what he wants to dress up as because I might not like the answer. Hmm

I have always loved that coat mig and will do a little dance if you do get it in the end.
