T'is a fleece kind of day. We're taking my son's GF to visit her Fathers grave later and the weather is the perfect pathetic fallacy-grey, overcast. I will not be styling it high today. Am in navy blue cigarette legs from Gap, a kind of pale tobacco coloured sloppy sweatshirt/Long sleeve T top of several years age and my leopard print Clarks desert boots. I will chuck on an old jacket and that'll have to do.

We have a Winter meal planned for later, carrots, swede and potatoes all mashed together with butter and black pepper plus pork chops for the kids with roasted apple smashed on top of the meat. Perfect cold weather slop then Strictly on the TV and last weeks Gogglebox (am addicted to this) to laugh at.

Anyone about? Live shopping pin on mnv!

mignonnette · 20/10/2013 15:00

I'm with you Anni( Giggle) it's really a weird feeling all this technology and what it can do.

MarshaBrady · 20/10/2013 15:05

I'm on! Love this dual action. Such a good idea the pin board Anni.

Annianni · 20/10/2013 15:22

Thanks everyone who helped. Just fought my way back to the car.

Why do some people take their entire families shopping?
I couldn't think of anything worse, having dc's, grandparents and everyone trailing round the shops... It's crazy busy!

QueenCadbury · 20/10/2013 15:48

Anyone reading style magazine. I'm totally on trend...

  • it's now cool to match your nails to your trainers
  • the fringe is the thing
  • boot cuts/kick flares are coming back.

shop thought of you whilst reading the shooting article.

BrandyAlexander · 20/10/2013 15:52

Anni, just caught up. I am confused, which one did you get? I preferred the dark wash, I thought it was better fit too. Looks like you're that annoying in between size. That's usually me!

libertychick · 20/10/2013 15:56

Grin at the live shopping action earlier.
Anni I hear you, family shopping trips are a no no in my book.

Foxy - apols. Only saw your pm a few minutes ago - have replied but obviously too late.

I'm having the 4pm Sunday 'Oh crap it's Monday tomorrow' blues. Need to iron, pack my handbag, check the diary and other boring duties.

shopafrolic · 20/10/2013 17:00

Well if they buy our house I'll eat my hat. V polite and complementary but i didn't get the vibes. Have decided I can't show people around. I've put too much heart and soul into this place for it not to hurt.

Decided that the Gap ones are too stiff a denim for me.

Has anyone tried Mint velvet jeans?
I saw some nice ones in JL, but they didn't have my size.

40 bum lady said the boyfriend ones are nice.
Might order some to try.

Annianni · 20/10/2013 17:14

The mint velvet bit in JL was full of 'older ladies' which puts me off a bit...

shopafrolic · 20/10/2013 17:17

Anni we have a Mint Velvet store in our nearest town and it's full of all ages....... got to be worth a try.

OneLittleLady · 20/10/2013 17:22

Today I am wearing a dark green jaquard print dress (fiver from primark!) plum coloured tights, a black cardigan and long black boots. I also have a studded hair clip in my hair. I like it, it's wintery and warm Halloween Grin

MarshaBrady · 20/10/2013 17:38

Shop good idea, it is easier to stay one step removed I think, in all stages! Don't feel down, your house is lovely. You never know what people are looking for, it might just not match what they want.

And I love that pic of your hair. So good. The whole look, love it.

I have fallen in love with the dark grey skinny, biker and white shirt look. (That pic is good motivation to keep running too.)

Have been in shorts and tank all day as did the I must run outfit. So glad I did it, but endorphins seemed to kick in when I got home and had to dance around living room for a bit madly with music much to dc's amusement.

Mig I love Loewe too. And their pink and red together.

Annianni · 20/10/2013 17:58

All the women looked like my mother Shop... 60 plus :o

I've ordered them anyway to try.

Will go to my local Gap outlet tomorrow for a look, and might try order the Asos brady ones too.

Drywhiteplease · 20/10/2013 19:04

You're looking great in the ad Shop. Sorry about today. Good idea to get e agent to do it, it's your home and just a house to them so can be v upsetting.
Marsha that is such a cool look!mV you. I have ordered biker boots with 20% off.......you know me! I like to dip my toe in v carefully when I'm out of my boring comfort zone. Will report back.
I seem to have agreed to host a Christmas party last night Grin.....,Shock
QueenC nothing wrong with a fleece in the privacy of your home???I have a huge fleece dressing gown needs to be replaced feel like Henry VIII when I wear it, but it's so cosy.

Drywhiteplease · 20/10/2013 19:08

If you had £300 to spend on an evening bag what would you choose? Am thinking of perhaps asking DH for one for Xmas.i like this a lot.

Annianni · 20/10/2013 19:25

Love that bag Dry.

LinusDKD · 20/10/2013 19:29

dry I like that Miu Miu but I have been lusting after this

But as I hardly ever go out it would not get a lot of wear. Very tempted though seeing as it is discounted at the moment.

mig your Loewe iphone case is gorgeous! I love that colour combination.

I have never been into a Bershka store as it always seems full of teenagers but perhaps I should go and have a browse.

Poor shop! Wine and Thanks. Looking good in your ad though Wink

QueenCadbury · 20/10/2013 19:40

shop don't feel bad. I think it's awkward for both parties involved when there's no impartial estate agent there. I hated being in for viewings when we sold ours. Much easier to just be out the picture.

Right, I'm now going fantasy shopping with drys 300 quid.

QueenCadbury · 20/10/2013 19:48

I like this quilted one but there's also quite a few nice ones on the r&b site.

Annianni · 20/10/2013 19:50

I'd probably get an AH valorie Dry, they appear on the outnet quite often too.
Dunno what colour though, I like them all :o

shopafrolic · 20/10/2013 19:59

Marsha did you see p19 of Style? What Women Want? A peacoat. They've shown a navy MiH one...... I swear they lurk.
