Just back from school run and managed to squeeze in a quick coffee and chat with gorgeous Liberty - lovely to see you
!
Mom I am not a massive fan of cheese but your description of that sandwich sounds gorgeous!
Decam - it sounds like you aren't particularly overweight but hold on to the last few pounds around your tummy, like many of us? It's a tricky area because no matter what exercises you do to strengthen the muscles there (I would recommend planks, side planks and seated side twists with a medicine ball or weight), if the layer of fat remains then you won't see the benefit
. I think Shred is fantastic but generally would advise doing whatever you enjoy in order to do it consistently. I am also evangelical about weight training and think all of us should build some into our routine, even if just bodyweight exercises. Exercise wise, to burn fat, interval training is hard to beat. This is essentially what JM does with Shred and also spinning does it to an extent, but you could add in some sprints to your run or just do some sets of burpees at home (see how many you can manage in one go, it will vary massively according to your fitness but go to your limit) then rest for a minute and repeat 5 or 6 times.
Also its worth mentioning that belly fat retention is closely related to stress. This may be stress in our generally accepted sense - busy/rushed lifestyle etc, but equally could be caused by lack of sleep, prolonged/excessive cardio training, general unhappiness with some area of life (work, relationships, health, money) or factors in our environment that we are sensitive to - such as lots of mess or pollution

Nice shoes Dry
Matches sale appears to have started but I don't recall even liking anything on there this season anyway - not normal
- so I think I am going to avoid clicking and browsing, especially after another chat with DH last week about watching the spending for a bit
