Hola chicas. Have done something horrid to my left shoulder/upper back so in a lot of pain. Medicating with glass of delicious Bordeaux as DH not back till 9 and he left at 6am. Stress. Max stress. Pain, builders, children, mess, DH about to leave. He is going to Oz a week on Friday for five weeks. Am going ostrich over whole thing, pretending not actually happening.

thanks shop. am feeling so down about everything, I actually cried on SR this am when another mum asked how i was. there is too much crap atm! no wonder my upper back has seized up, it;s probably paralysed my stress.

on nutrition - I agree with everything sleep has posted. only thing would add is that it is harder on a tight budget. we don't buy any meat at all, I don't eat it and it would blow our budget, so we do have quorn mince or quorn sausages on occasion. lots of tofu, pulses, eggs, fish in this house. and yes, I eat avocados almost everyday, am an addict!

I don't actually say or think I'm on a diet. I don't feel like it. It's just how I eat. Luckily I enjoy it that way and feel better too. But I know not everyone is keen.

I felt great today and didn't reach for the biscuits or crisps I did have some chocolate dipped strawberries for pudding tonight though, and they were delicious!

Foxy I was rushing for bath - sorry. Just to say that it is no wonder you are down in the dumps so please don't be harsh on yourself. I think crying on the school run should be mandatory! We'd all be kinder to each other. DH will be away for a long time, it's a big thing. We will hand hold, and make you laugh, and keep you company (and I'll probably cry with you some days!). Big cuddle.

I hear it's going to be very cold again this year. What should I get to wear in the snow on my feet? What do you all wear?

marsha when it's really cold/snowy I wear these in black. Very warm and good grip on the ice. Or I wear my hunter willies with boot liners.

Almonds.....years ago I heard Liz Hurley say if she was hungry she'd have a handful of almonds. I thought but it's actually true! they do fill you up she did not tell me this in person obv
I'm obsessed with natural yogurt with sweetener prob v bad for you and cinnamon, love cinnamon. Throw in blueberries...yum!

Sleep showed the clip of Flyte to DCs.....DD was nonplussed but DS (nearly 15 and quite into proper music not One Direction ) said he really liked them and that their sound was v current with Beatles overtones ....

Excited because I'm put for dinner Friday and Saturday so new silver shoes will get a good airing (will be channelling my inner Sleep )

I bought these a couple of years ago......pretend I'm a real country woman in them. Mud/snow/rain.....lovely hot/ dry feet. One of my most boring practical purchases ever.....would love these

Shop have not forgotten! . Not really! We stream on the Mac. Apple-tastic family. But same difference. Looking forward to a bit of light hearted fluff.
