As of this morning, a scant two weeks after putting me in the right size bra for the first time EVER, I own seven new bras.

Seven.

And I am STILL LOOKING. I am obsessed.

You will drive me to the poorhouse.

(It isn't quite as profligate as it sounds: most have cost me 5-8 pounds; the most expensive was 11. But even so.)

Please tell me I'm not alone and there are other MNers with a drawer full of new undies thanks to the Bra Enablers?

Don't you know that you can never have too many bras

Dancergirl · 31/08/2013 09:41

Oooh, where can you get bras for £5...?

needasilverlining · 31/08/2013 09:51

House of Fraser and debenhams clearance and eBay.

I have discovered I am a totally different size thanks to You Bra People. I have only bought two new cheapies so far as an experiment but I am so comfortable today in my new purchase I will be doing a full underwear overhaul soon!

MortifiedAdams · 31/08/2013 09:57

If anyone shops in Primark they do a bra and pants set for three quid - underwired bra and decent pants. I got two sets yhinking if they were shite then Iv not wasted much amd they were marvellous!

KatoPotato · 31/08/2013 09:59

What's the size range like in primark?

FriedSprout · 31/08/2013 10:06

Not only do I now have a bra for every day of the week, but they colour coordinate with my knickers too!

I am no longer invited anywhere because I insist on knowing what size bras people are wearing and persuading them to 'dangle for the tape'

I will have to do it all over again in a couple of months as I am in the middle of a strict diet too!

MortifiedAdams · 31/08/2013 10:07

I bought a 34c, but it was near the top of the stand, lots of bigger sizes below, I didnt think to check.

KatieScarlett2833 · 31/08/2013 10:10

I ordered a vair expensive navy bra after realising thanks to the bra threads that I had always been wearing the wrong size.
My tits look like a teenagers in it.
Sadly I have to hide it as my actual teenager likes to dress out of my wardrobe. Grin

needasilverlining · 31/08/2013 10:15

Primark starts at 32 back and I'm now a 30.

I am going to Primark today. Will check and report back. Seriously doubt they will accommodate my newly measured 32FF though.

SorrelForbes · 31/08/2013 10:24

I have no idea why any of you are on about? New bras? What tosh! Wink

Fairylea · 31/08/2013 10:27

I was going to post the same thread yesterday :)

I now have 4 brand new 30ggs from bravissimo... £100 later... ouch! But I love them sooooooo much :)

StatisticallyChallenged · 31/08/2013 10:32

Wanders through thread, whistling innocently, too many bras, pah

pssstttt married, what's the Cleo Maddie like fit wise?

SorrelForbes · 31/08/2013 10:42

I believe that the size range in Primark is limited

KatieScarlett2833 · 31/08/2013 10:43

House of Fraser/Debenhans Sale( cough)

Fairylea · 31/08/2013 10:45

I couldn't wear bras from primark, last time I checked they didn't do anywhere near my size and the closest they had didn't offer any support, I might as well have stuck two shoulder pads on the front of my boobs tied round me with knicker elastic.

GobblersKnob · 31/08/2013 10:47

Hahahahaha

I found my correct size on here 2 ish years ago, before then I had 4 bras, all of which were in various stages of ageing.

I now have erm upward of thirty and had to downsize recently and sell quite a few on ebay, bras that fit are a revelation Grin

marriednotdead · 31/08/2013 12:19

Primark do a 32 up to D, 34 & 36 up to F so far that I've seen. No use to me but have found a friend a 36F there that was bloody amazing for £6.

Cleo Maddie. Beautiful shape but ridiculously small fit. They seem to have added padding by stealing cup space Hmm
Will need to size up at least 1 cup and/or a band.

StatisticallyChallenged · 31/08/2013 12:32

Boooooo. I have a Meg in a 30H which is actually a bit big in the back (straight on to tightest hooks, it's been languishing in the drawers with tags on!) so had hoped it would fit. I've shrunk - might have to go try a 30GG deco again.

needasilverlining · 31/08/2013 19:15

In theory, if there was a brand I really loved but not available in 30DD, would it be worth trying a 32D? Or a 32DD and one of those Rixie clips I've been hearing about?

OP posts:
SorrelForbes · 31/08/2013 19:29

Mmmmm, it probably wouldn't be the end of the world as a D/DD in a 30/32 isn't huge and therefore wouldn't need as much support from the band as say, a G cup. However, as the cup increases with the band it changes in proportion so that might throw things for you. Always worth a go though. TBH you'd probably find a 32 would just ride up your back though and annoy you!

Trills · 31/08/2013 19:33

I looove my new bras. I wasn't far out but they are just so much nicer.

I want new bikinis as well.

needasilverlining · 31/08/2013 19:34

Now I know what a bra should fit like, it probably would!Might check reviews and see if they come up small.

marriednotdead · 31/08/2013 20:04

SC, how is the Meg in the cups?
