Do you like turquoise? Can't decide if I love or hate this Boden cable jumper.

Here. I'm a HOC winter with dark hair if that's relevant to anyone ;)

I love it personally and think it'd make a great contrast between that and your hair

Keztrel · 12/08/2013 14:56

Thanks OneLittle. I haven't worn anything turquoise since my early teens. I'd wear it with black I think...

Love it, it's my favourite colour!

BrainSurgeon · 12/08/2013 14:58

I love turquoise but I'm afraid I hate that jumper... Sorry!

FunnysInLaJardin · 12/08/2013 15:03

lovely. I am similar colouring to you and suit turquoise and those types of shades

Bexicles · 12/08/2013 15:16

Yes I think it would work, have to say I prefer the darker blue though.

SunnyUpNorth · 12/08/2013 15:19

I love the jumper and colour but (having been diagnosed as a Jewel Winter on Saturday!) is that a winter colour? I would have thought that was quite a spring colour?

I would dismiss my comments a bit though as I'm reeeeeeeally struggling with identifying the correct Winter shades though!!

buttercrumble · 12/08/2013 15:22

Ooh i love it , how would you style it though Smile

Keztrel · 12/08/2013 15:26

Sunny I'm not sure if it's a winter colour or not to be honest! I will consult my booklet when I get home. I struggle too, especially with greens, but generally go by the rule 'is it bright?' If it is, it should work Grin

butter not sure, would have to try it on with stuff - skinny black trousers maybe? Not sure how well it would go with dark jeans but it's very casual, am not thinking of it for work wear.

Lovely colour, awful jumper.
I think unless you have the shape of a twelve year old boy they just make you bulky and they never look right over boobs.

Keztrel · 12/08/2013 15:31

I'm pretty petite Loop so it might look okay, will have to try - haven't had a chunky cable jumper before though so you might be right!

Fab colour but have to agree that shape is really unflattering on all but the super skinny/flat chested.

celticclan · 12/08/2013 15:53

Don't like it. I think it's a spring colour. It would look nice on a 5 year old but far too chunky for an adult.

Keztrel · 12/08/2013 16:00

Had a look at various websites and turquoise seems to be good on springs and winters. I guess there are different shades of turquoise though. Hmm...

Love the colour. Hate the jumper.

Keztrel · 12/08/2013 16:03

Can't believe people don't like cable knits - I love them! It's the colour I'm concerned about really.

How much??

Jeesus!

Primark do loads of jumpers like that in loads of different colours.

flowery · 12/08/2013 16:07

I wear loads of turquoise. I am a HoC Spring and it's one of my best colours, so I would be surprised if it would suit a Winter tbh.

GobblersKnob · 12/08/2013 16:07

Great colour, horrible jumper.

Nothing against cable knits, this one is lovely.

Keztrel · 12/08/2013 16:16

flowery it's in the spring and the winter palettes. Gobblers that is very nice, not for me though.

Am just going to try it and see (might get the petite so it's not as long as on the model.)

I'm another one who thinks its more a spring turquoise. Sorry

FrancesFarmer · 12/08/2013 17:07

I don't like that colour no matter how nice the garment. I like some cable sweaters but I think that one looks a bit old-fashioned.

Elsiequadrille · 12/08/2013 17:12

I like that it's old fashioned looking (and it really is) I have a similar design Boden cardigan in brown. Hmm, I like urquoise, but don't know if it's a little garish, and for autumn/winter (the seasons, not HOC).

Elsiequadrille · 12/08/2013 17:12

turquoise*

BitchyRestingFace · 12/08/2013 17:18

Love the colour, not keen on the jumper. It's very granny-knit but not in a good way IMO.

Haven't had my colours done (and won't) but have had a nosy online and think I would be a winter of some description (dark dark hair and eyes, pale, blue veins). Turquoises and teals and aquas have always suited me.
