Boots Botanics moisturiser SPf 15 sinks in lovely and doesnt leave my skin greasy

George at Asda gel nail polish -no chipping so far after three days

Ooh also Lotil handcream. Forms a barrier against the elements. Also good for when you have a cold and your nose gets sore. Stings though!

Rohey it's easy to use, wash hair as normal, then apply the wax (more like a thick conditioner than a wax), wrap hair in a towel or shower cap, wash off after half an hour. My hair as I said, is quite wavy with a tendency to be dry and frizz, and this makes it lovely and soft. I do need to use straighteners as well.

jamster I too shave my legs with conditioner - it is a brilliant tip!!

I've done this for years - added bonus is if, like me, you often forget to moisturise after shaving, the legs actually look OK!

I love Aldi Lacura products and use the aqua or Q 10 serum (beautiful light texture, £3.50) and the concealer pen in Savannah (fake Touche Eclat, again around £3.50). I also have the shimmering day cream which is lovely for the evening but has no SPF so I don't use it during the day.

I always look out for free beauty gifts with magazines. Glamour, Red, Elle and Cosmo all do them regularly and sometimes they are lovely products. I've recently had a small pot of Benetint, some Clinique moisturiser and Elemis primer, for about £3 each.
