So I've discovered her blog thanks to you lovely ladies, however I have hit a wall. Its here if you are interested. The products she recommends are soooo expensive, but I like the logic of her method.

She says you should think about how much you spend on a handbag and shoes and that is wear we hit a stumbling block. In the past year I've bought one pair of shoes for £20 in the Banana Republuc sale combined with a voucher!

So fans of her double cleanse, double tone, moisturise method, what products do you use? The more purse friendly the better. I'm finding she recommends lots of cleansers, a few key toners but I'm really stuck on moisturisers and ingredients to look for.

Hi Lovely Ladies.

Firstly, thank you for the kind words.

Secondly - I completely understand the moisturiser frustration. The reason there aren't THAT many moisturisers mentioned is because it's not easy finding REALLY good affordable ones - and I don't want to keep recommending great expensive ones - as I'm totally aware that my readers pay for their products with their hard earned cash - and let's be frank - I don't.

SO: food for much thought for me.

I will start listing my favourite more-affordable brands asap. And I'm sorry it's been so slack thus far.

Thank you for the feedback.

Cxx

JennySense · 16/08/2013 13:29

Heya Caroline - thanks so much for popping along here - I love your blog - and you have got me toning!

HatieKokpins · 16/08/2013 13:29

Psst!! It's Clarins Exfoliating toner that Caroline recommends, NOT THE CLINIQUE. Trust me on this.

carolinehirons · 16/08/2013 14:07

NOT THE CLINIQUE CLARIFYING LOTION. calms down

carolinehirons · 16/08/2013 14:07

Thanks Ladies. :)

How exciting! Caroline read and replied to my post!

One range I keep seeing mentioned on other blogs is Bravura. Some have compared their toner to Pixi Glow and I was looking at their range if moisturisers. I wondered what your opinion on them was.

Oh my, those are some STRONGASS products, I'd be fearing chemical burns, frankly.

talkingnonsense · 16/08/2013 18:13

Does anyone know if the hydroluron is on offer in store, or only online?

KosherBacon · 16/08/2013 18:26

It's on offer in store too. I just bought the eysilix stuff too.
