Shock

Where did you see that ?

serenity · 10/06/2006 10:47

gross, toenails should not be long enough to manicure.

serenity · 10/06/2006 10:48

french manicure that is,

LadyTambaOfTambaTown · 10/06/2006 10:51

What should you do with them then? Mine are painted red (as I was wearing red sandles) is that ok? :)

serenity · 10/06/2006 10:59

This thread has now prompted me to go and paint my manky toenails. Anyone know what colour will tone with the lovely cut and bruise across my big toe, thanks to dropping the grill on my foot yesterday?

beansprout · 10/06/2006 11:01

Twig - I've seen that too. Was not right. Looked like she had stubbed her foot on some tippex.

Cod · 10/06/2006 13:45

Long toenails are really revolting even if they have been manicured/pedicured/whatever.

Chandra · 10/06/2006 15:44

Erm... yes, I have seen them and they looked awfully long. Yuk!

LadySherlockofLGJ · 10/06/2006 15:45

Carmenere

noddyholder · 10/06/2006 15:45

TwinsetandPearls · 10/06/2006 15:45

that's bollocks though .. even if your toe-nails are super short (which they should be) if you french manicure them the white bit looks like length that shouldn't be there

it looks foul

stop it immediately

The lady having her nails done before me on Tuesday wanted that done!

FrannyandZooey · 10/06/2006 16:24

I think they look nice on fingers or toes if done neatly, but I don't like any sort of french manicure with what looks like those bits stuck on. It looks bloody horrible.

Twiglett · 10/06/2006 18:07

if you paint your toes choose a colour .. an all over cover .. there should be no 'white bit' on toe-nails .. yeuch .. always makes me think of 3-toed sloths when I see it for some reason

KommandantColditz · 10/06/2006 18:10

I just do not like toes, full stop. We shound have nice neat hooves. Would negate the need for shoes.
