No,no,no,it's not the age of them, thats a coincidence because thats how long it takes to grow it to weirdy long.

PrincessPeaHead · 10/06/2006 20:48

get rid of it noddy. if it is more than 2" below your shoulderblades, it looks crap.

noddyholder · 10/06/2006 20:49

noddyholder · 10/06/2006 20:53

Oh god no I don't have that type of long hair but need it as I love wearing it in a loose bun/chignon thing It is also red so I probably deserve to be stonedGrin

beansprout · 10/06/2006 20:55

Noody - is it that sort of hennaed to within an inch of its life red? That's ok as it always means you are either a) decent or b) clever as every charity I have ever worked at has one hennaed long haired slightly mad woman.

If that's not you then please ignore everything I have just said.

noddyholder · 10/06/2006 20:56

It is red like julieanne moore red not dyed

MABS · 10/06/2006 20:59

your hair is lovely Noddy and suits you well. Totally agree with the french manicure thing on feet tho, HATE IT. I reckon toenails should always be coloured, any colour is fine tho, bright and cerise or pale and caramel. Don't start me on fingernails... nails are always manicured but i hate anything glittery or frosted on my fingiers, it MUST be matt.

Frenchgirl · 10/06/2006 21:45

OK PPH, I'm here now Grin
yopu are totally right, french manicures are foul, I hate them and would never have one
why on earth are they called french I wonder?
I do dark red/brown finger nails in winter and dark red/brown toe nails and nude finger nails in summer (just think they're the best colours for me)
not sure I'm flattered I agree with Telegraph woman though.....

Guffaw!

Bozza · 10/06/2006 22:15

I so agree with the OP. I just don't get teh concept of french manicure on toes. Coloured (or nude) varnish and leave it at that.

Cod LOL at DS3's opinions. My DS likes to help me choose my toe nail varnish colour. It's his contribution because sometimes DD has nail varnish on her toes (know some mnetters will frown) although she only has pale pink.

Cod · 10/06/2006 22:20

"wheres the red"

" i liek the red"

" now i want pink"

Blondilocks · 10/06/2006 23:17

I don't really see the point of having the acrylic toenails but I sometimes do a french manicure style nailpolish on my toenails & think it looks ok. However tend to be in a hurry so shove a random colour on. Currently they're a pink colour.

Don't like long toenails.

You get used to having long fingernails. My natural ones get reasonably long.

The thing I can't stand is fingernails that are bitten really really short. I hate it when a nail breaks as it just looks so untidy. Don't really notice other people's toenails to be honest.
