Liz Earle's botanical essence no1? It's a pretty fresh, citrusy-bergamot scent but it's £47.

inneedofrain · 25/07/2013 19:06

Ah I can´t help as I avoid all grassy / citrusy perfumes.

I was going to suggest Cool water which is still my favourite fresh scent.

I love intuision by eld as well but thats not really fresh.

TiredyCustards · 25/07/2013 19:08

L'occitane the vert has a bitter citrus note in it.

cannotfuckingbelievethis · 25/07/2013 19:24

Elizabeth Arden - Green Tea. I've seen it in TK MAXX and Bodycare for anywhere between £10-£20. I think it's lovely but doesn't have the best staying power.....

Tweet2tweet · 25/07/2013 19:47

I love Clarins Eau Ressourcante and the brand Roger and Gallet (can now get at M&S) do some lovely fresh scents. Clarins one has better staying power though and comes in large bottle that lasts ages.

GetStuffezd · 25/07/2013 19:48

Acqua di Gioia is beautiful but I have a feeling it might be quite dear.

Ujjayi · 25/07/2013 19:55

L'Occitane Verbena is beatiful. Very light, fresh & citrussy. Costs around £13.

candycrushhater · 25/07/2013 19:58

I like Dolce and Gabbana No. 3 L'imperatrice. It's a fresh citrus scent and costs about £35.

Foosyerdoos · 25/07/2013 20:00

My favourite is Origins ginger essence. It is really fresh and spicy.

hettie · 25/07/2013 20:06

am a sucker for this kind of thing ...
Clarins Eau Des Jardins
Aroma Tonic by Lancome
O de Lancome
Versace Versense
Neroli Portofino by Tom Ford
Philosykos by Diptyque.....

KosherBacon · 25/07/2013 20:06

Diptyque Philosykos is my favourite fresh scent. Its a fig based scent and is beautiful.

Clinique Happy

apatchylass · 25/07/2013 20:15

I second the suggestions for Occitane's Verbena - lovely, The Verte and
Clarin's Eau Resourcante which is fantastic - like clean sun dried linen and under £20.
Crabtree and Evelyn do a very fresh cologne of bitter oranges which is about £15

Un Jardin en Méditerranée by Hermes is nice.

Fluffy1234 · 25/07/2013 20:18

I second Clinique Happy.

PeerMon · 25/07/2013 20:27

Try Zara, they have a good range and under £20!

buzzy1 · 25/07/2013 20:31

Cacherel Noa is a nice one, and been around for a while so you can prob pick up quite cheap..

holidaybug · 25/07/2013 20:33

I third Clinique Happy. One of the few fragrances I've been complimented on by male colleagues

peggotty · 25/07/2013 20:33

Wow loads of suggestions - thanks very much. I'll seek out as much as possible to try.
