Another vote for no 1 shop. I think it's more versatile although I really like the other one as well.

sleep glad to hear your health scar turned out to be ok. That red dress is gorgeous but if I remember correctly the SbC dress was too. I hope it arrives in time.

I soooo want this, but it is £££££ and completely impractical with a toddler and a baby.

drool

Sleepwhenidie · 02/07/2013 13:38

Beautiful cape Linus..but perhaps not the wisest investment Smile.

Mixing up my NAP and MW, just looked at the SBC dress again, clicked through from my orders page to see they now have it at £78, "coming soon" here 70% off - so even if I like it I'm not sure I can bear to pay £183 for it now! WWYD?

Foxy can't remember if I said how sorry I am that you can't make Saturday, I was really looking forward to meeting you Sad

shop another vote for no1 necklace.

QueenCadbury · 02/07/2013 13:48

sleep glad you're ok. Can you really see psoriasis marks as that red dress is gorgeous. Wrt the other dress, I would wait and see if you can get it in yor size at £78 and return the higher priced one.

amber I imagine that you are going to be counting the 150 days off on your calendar with a big red marker pen Grin

foxy can you do the October meet up? I was going to book train tickets soon to try and get them as cheaply as poss. Would be good to travel together ( that way you can make sure I get off at Bristol after I've had some prosecco!)

Great end to the shopping ban Amber.

Like these shoes from & Other Stories

these

leather and rope sandals

and these turquoise and beige heels.

What do you all think?

LinusDKD · 02/07/2013 13:55

Somebody please buy these:

Hobbs

I have bought way too much lately and I am trying to be good until we go to NY in three weeks time.

mignonette · 02/07/2013 14:03

Shop jeans and blazer is perfect. Maybe a sharp shirt or blouse underneath?

Linus The McQueen is stunning. My goodness, what an entrance you'd make in it.

I love kimono style capes worn over jeans and t shirts, simply styled with a really great shoe and going out make up. Liking the Hobbs sandals but I have several pairs of silver sandals/shoes and I just can't but anymore. You are very bad for enticing us Linus into reckless, abandoned spending....Smile

AmberNectarine · 02/07/2013 14:05

I imagine the novelty will wear off after about 8 days QC. however, I will be accepting freebies and have amassed a nice little stack of press day vouchers, so hopefully it won't be too agonising!

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 02/07/2013 14:06

Love all those shoes Linus and Mig.

I am being good though and will not be buying anything else until I've sold all my ebay stuff and am looking at AW.

Bloody boring though.

Drywhiteplease · 02/07/2013 14:25

Just back from gym......forgot my shorts! So eating a sandwich at home catching up on fashion talk......so much better than spinning Grin
Marsh nearly choked on sandwich when you mentioned Erden on Outnet....love it and funny that you know what I like! Sadly too expensive considering recent purchases , but thanks for the though.
Shop no 1. Jeans and blazer absolutely fine for governors' meeting.....but why not just go crazy and wear hot pants Grin
Sleep so sorry about your psoriasis, not a nice thing to suffer from....the dress is stunning. Glad your health scare was just a scare.
Amber cool bag
QueenC hugs and hand holding ( for the miserable people on the anti hand holding thread)

Fedupnagging · 02/07/2013 15:06

Just caught up on today's posts. Some great links.

Loved the yellow sandals turq linked to earlier. Also like & Other Stories site- not heard of that site before. Some fab shoes.

The red dress is lovely sleep. And that zebra print bag is fab amber.

Am in need of sandals as the dog chewed my most comfortable navy rope wedges Angry and 2 pairs of flats which are several years old are looking tired. Thought I might have a mooch around cambridge tomorrow to see if anything takes my fancy.

shopafrolic · 02/07/2013 15:10

Thanks everyone - am doing as I'm told and keeping necklace number 1 - tried it with lots of bits while DS napped and it's a goodie.
I am officially poor now and MUST NOT spend any more money.
Dagmar sweater is also (finally) perfect.
Sleep can you phone customer services and enquire whether your size is due in and when?

OneLittleLady · 02/07/2013 15:11

Today's style is 'whatever I can get on with one hand' so it's an elasticated waist coral maxi skirt and a russian doll print vest. I can't even get a bra on. Stupid arm locked at the shoulder this morning, have an emergency visit from the physio in about an hour. Lucky that they agreed to come to me as I just can't do anything right now.

In other news I'm looking for a new pair of glasses as the hinge on mine is starting to go. I want something chunky, not too round and preferably in black and/or purple. Red might be ok as well as long as it's quite a deep colour. Any of you style wonders seen anything? Price is not too much of a problem as I will pay more for them as I wear them every single day.

Drywhiteplease · 02/07/2013 15:30

Marsha was sooo close to being tempted, some lovely dresses there, and look at this I could weep and there's my size too......must go out for a bit!Grin

libertychick · 02/07/2013 15:55

(((((hugs))))) for QueenC. My period started today after 10 days of hell....I actually drafted a letter quitting the job I am working on this morning but remembered just in time that I am not making decisions this week - already feeling relieved that I didn't act on it.

Great necklace Shop my vote was No 1 as well.

Did you spin in your knickers Dry? Grin

I am really stressing about what to wear on Saturday...sad, I know but I really struggle with hot weather clothes...those of you who carry off hot weather dressing well please share your tips!!!

libertychick · 02/07/2013 15:57

Mig I love the leather and rope sandals.

One sorry to hear you are in pain again - hope the physio can work some magic.

shopafrolic · 02/07/2013 16:46

Liberty if it's hot I'll probably wear my Me&em maxi dress - I don't think I'll have time to get my legs in any fit state to be seen Grin

rubylovesshopping · 02/07/2013 17:22

I often try to keep up with this thread but it moves on so fast. After really loving queen cadburys pins last week I managed to sign up and found lots of your boards too. Feeling somewhat like a stalker felt I had to come on here and declare what I'd done!
Love the site and feel I could lose hours of my life pinning and posting. My pin boards are at the fledgling stage but if any of you see me following you at least you know it's me Smile

Drywhiteplease · 02/07/2013 18:30

I most certainly did not liberty Shock ! My gym knickers are not fit for public viewing.........infact none of mine are Grin

LinusDKD · 02/07/2013 18:48

one poor you! I hope the physio helped today!

ruby welcome!

I have just put on the Me&Em maxi dress and I absolutely love it. I was a bit apprehensive when I saw it first as it's a looong dress, but once I put it on and adjusted the fabric I was sold.

It is such a comfortable yet sensuous (I know, horrible word but I don't know how else to descibe it) dress, I can't help swaying my hips a bit when I'm walking.

Sorry if this is getting a bit too 50 Shades for you all, I am only on my first glass of Wine, honest.

Drywhiteplease · 02/07/2013 19:42

McNamara and McNamee v McEnroe and McEnroe! With a G and T in my comfy chair, I'm in nostalgia heaven Smile

McNally · 02/07/2013 20:13

I've just caught up and looked at the Outnet. Now having Erdem lust.

Really liked these Michael Kors heels for work until I saw that stud on the heel at the back which would really annoy me [fusspot].

Thinking about this Chinti and Parker shirt.

Glad you're having a good time with your Me&Em Liberty!

Good shoes mig. Also really liked the maroon &Other Stories ones you pinned.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 02/07/2013 20:50

Welcome to new friends!

Fedup I'm almost evangelical about &OtherStories. My metallic gold and clear plastic pumps are my fave purchases this year. Really fashion-forward and reasonably priced - part of the H&M family. While we're on the subject, how excited are we all at the Isabel Marant/H&M collab in November? Think I may start camping outside sometime in October. What with that and J Crew's imminent arrival (and Victoria's Secret opening in Meadowhall) I'd better start saving my money now. Well, if I had any money left to save, I would Grin.

Tory Burch cuff and Stella & Dot earrings arrived today and I'm in luuuurve. The earrings especially are so gorgeous and just sing of tropical summer days and Mango Daiquiris on the beach. Think they'll look delish hanging underneath the brim of my panama hat. I can almost smell the coconut oil.

OneLittleLady · 02/07/2013 20:52

Victoria's Secret in meadowhall?!? Excellent, I'm not too far away from there so I shall be visiting Grin

Drywhiteplease · 02/07/2013 21:02

Victoria's Secret ! Meadowhall! Right need to learn to drive to Sheffield !

OneLittleLady · 02/07/2013 21:10

Get the train dry, i'll meet you there Grin
