Hi all.
Mignonette, hope you are starting to feel better. DD2 and I go through a punnet of strawberries a day, we could empty your allotment in no time!

Linus, which are the red Henriettas?

Dry, love the Nancy bag, just gorgeous.

QueenC, DH and I have a frugality chat on a regular basis. I try!

Foxy, I read The Darker Side Of Love recently, really enjoyed it. Marsha, I've just finished The Story Sisters by Alice Hoffman, also check out anything by Elinor Lipman, Anita Shreve, Anne Tyler, Annie Proulx, and second (third?) Curtis Sittenfeld.

Gwen, I really like those Hush fish print pajamas too.

Found a great pair of pale grey skinny jeans and ordered two pairs of Lululemon leggings, they honestly make you look two sizes smaller.

Also really tempted by this blouse to wear to a christening soon but not sure, it is still quite exxy. Love the colour and always get good wear out of DVF though.

foxysocks · 27/06/2013 17:45

That blouse is delish but watch the lining - 100% poly would be too hot for me

I love lulu leggings, they are the absolute bomb

Currently trying to ignore NaP, and failing. When will the next lot of reductions hit? I hope it's soon...

LinusDKD · 27/06/2013 18:39

Grumpy wow that Boden jumper is very J Crew-esque.

Decam the Henrietta's are these

one singing and quantum physics? You are a woman of many talents. Wink

What would be the best place to sell a Tod's bag? I bought one many years ago and even though I like the style, the colour really doesn't suit any of my clothes. I still have the dustbag but nothing else. I guess Ebay is the obvious choice but I am a bit wary of selling on there as I have heard horror stories

If I sell it I might put the money towards another Céline or maybe even a 2.55.

shopafrolic · 27/06/2013 19:26

Gorgeous Missoni shoes on secret sales for £49 some down from £500 plus. Hurry going fast.....

shopafrolic · 27/06/2013 19:34

Just ordered these Missoni pointed flats in a 7. Hope they fit. I'm either going to love them or hate them when they arrive but for £49 bought from EBay proceeds I had to get them...... I think they'll work with lots of bits this Autumn.

shopafrolic · 27/06/2013 19:41

I've sold a few Mulberry bags on EBay with very few problems...... Or maybe you have a dress agency who might sell it and take a commission?

shopafrolic · 27/06/2013 19:47

Sorry, last post was meant for Linus

Drywhiteplease · 27/06/2013 19:49

shop lovely shoes. What is " secret sales"? If buying on ebay how would you know the bags weren't fake? Am lusting after your black hobo and not made any more I think.a few on ebay............

LinusDKD · 27/06/2013 19:55

Nice shoes!

Might have a look at Ebay and see what I need to do to sell a bag.

Drywhiteplease · 27/06/2013 19:55

Anni where are you?

shopafrolic · 27/06/2013 19:58

Do you really like them Linus or have I gone mental? I do love Missoni print and hope they'll be fairly timeless?? If they don't fit I should be able to recoup most of what I spent on EBay? Fingers crossed.....
Anni is about on Pin.......

LinusDKD · 27/06/2013 20:09

To be fair when I saw 'Missoni' I thought I wouldn't like them, because I'm not normally a fan of Missoni prints. (I know, fashion blasphemy)

But when I clicked on the link I was pleasantly surprised, I really do like them. The colours make it a very versatile shoe that will work with a lot of outfits.

shopafrolic · 27/06/2013 20:28

Thanks Linus

mignonette · 27/06/2013 20:29

I like the Missoni's Shop. They'll coordinate with a surprising amount of colours. Good buy!

I'm not keen on the Missoni space knit although on a Pin you can see the cuff of my Missoni space knit dark red cardigan!

DeCameron I think those grey jeans are the ones beloved by Kate Moss. They are fast becoming a fashion legend..

Linus - those Henriettas are like wearing a 2:55 on your feet. Like them...

Marsha Congrats on your new nephew. I'm awaiting a new niece due by induction in the next few days.

Have gone on an ice cream pinning frenzy so beware all you shredders...Wink. Have pinned loads of books though from my collection plus ones awaiting reading. I have a Kindle but I prefer owning books as I lend out a lot. I'm kind of an informal lending library with no fines.....

LinusDKD · 27/06/2013 20:47

Stop it Mig! I have been chewing gum all evening so I would not be tempted to try one of the baklavas I bought for DH's birthday.

The swine ate ALL of them! At least I still have my Wine, that is one thing I'm not giving up.

mignonette · 27/06/2013 20:55

I need to invent some new chewing gum flavours!

shopafrolic · 27/06/2013 21:01

All these babies! Sorry Marsha I missed that! Congrats to you too... X

santamarianovella · 27/06/2013 21:30

gorgeous missoni flats shop, just the kind of thing i see all the chic italians are wearing on holiday, and what a bargain.

i too was wandering about ani , please comeback !

linus i sold a few bags and shoes on ebay, through someone that is,so i dont know all the hard work.

i love baklavas!

mig you are devilish!,i have a tube of waitrose raspberry sorbet for my ice cream cravings, but after having a look at your board im in the mood for that peach ricotta ice cream, looks yummy.
and i love your american pie board, its a dream of mine to go on a trip to the american country side.

LeFreakCestChic · 27/06/2013 21:52

Popping in to say what great links these are.
But Must Not Buy summer clothes. I much prefer A W stuff and it gets way more CPW than what we laughingly call summer. am holding out for autumn gear.
Does anyone have a Boden code? I remember there was a 20% but have I missed the boat?

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 27/06/2013 22:47

Have finished with summer stuff now too LeFreak. Bought my last few things today, went for a panama instead of a trilby
holiday earrings
bargain and would look nice with a tan
needed espadrilles, thanks Shop

No more now, however tempting. Did pick up Lewiston wash toothpick jeans from J Crew, but they don't count as summer clothes. Must get ebaying!

libertychick · 27/06/2013 22:50

Hello - so, so tired. Saw GP today as PMT is dreadful and basically knocking me out for at least 10 days per month...

I walked past Agnes B on Marylebone High Street today and the most gorgeous blue cotton shirt with a white heart print beckoned me in. Voguettes, I bought the shirt - £125 Blush I have never before spent so much an a shirt. I adore it, and am VERY put out that's it's not on the website so I can't pin it Sad. I will not remove the labels for at least a week in case I reconsider post AF...so much for the Burberry fund but I have a good feeling about this shirt and it's future significance in my life. Smile

Sorry for lack of feedback - too exhausted - normal service should resume in 3 or 4 days - but enjoying all the links very much.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 27/06/2013 22:54

Woops, seems I can't link to the spadrilles without signing in, sorry. They are the turquoise striped ones anyway.

Has anyone seen the preview of the Mulberry AW13 campaign featuring Cara Delvingne? It's in this week's Grazia - found myself drowning in a pool of my own covetousness.

shopafrolic · 28/06/2013 09:56

Grumpy your links make me feel in need of a holiday! So sick of this weather. Glad you go the espadrilles - bargainous and so pretty. ANd I love your Panama. I was going to buy a hat (not sure if anyone saw / liked the NaP links to hats I posted up thread) but I'm not sure I'll get to wear it at this rate!
Liberty am going to PM you......

shopafrolic · 28/06/2013 09:59

Oh and Liberty your shirt sounds v pretty.

mignonette · 28/06/2013 10:32

Santa if you want an ice cream that is less calorific and fatty then try Yog mango and passionfruit, Asda coconut and mango yoghurt ice cream and Waitrose yoghurt ice creams. I also like Kulfi.

Thank you for looking at American Pie. My Kudzu Girl board looks at the Deep South as i am completely obsessed with it. If anybody wants to read a fantastic modern Southern Gothic writer, try Bailey White. Her collections of essays and short stories ('Sleeping at the Starlite Motel', 'Mamma Makes Up Her Mind') are the best there is. She writes of 'The silent watchfulness of spiders'...a sentence that makes the hairs stand up on my arms.

Grumpy I hope you do not mind but I have to order that Tory Burch cuff. It is divine.

Yes I bought Grazia. It was a day late for some reason. Mulberry looks lovely but I truly am sick to the back teeth of the Delevigne as the media has gone bat shit crazy for her in their desperation to recreate the days of the supermodels. Please please please can we see some other models? My favourite is Arizona Muse. Her first editorial with US Vogue had her posing in Arizone (imagination of the magazine shows no bounds) with her little son, Nico. She is old time beautiful and makes me think of mid western housewives in their droopy teadresses, bobbed hair and languid, long waisted elegance.

liberty I'm so sorry to hear what a bad time you are having of it. I hope the GP could help you. I can read in your posts what you are feeling. PM me if you want a 'chat' about it. Time to put on that shirt, get yourself to somewhere you find calming and tranquil, take a book and try to lose yourself. There's a reason why so many women crave carbs during hormonal upheaval- they help the body make and utilise serotonin. So go with it. High protein diets are not always the way to go with PMS if you are on anything like that.

Today I am wearing my Gap dark grey roll cuff chinos with this watch in yellow/green colourway, these metallic sandals, a mid grey sloppy Uniqlo sweatshirt and black Malene Birger button side vest from Outnet. Not sure if the watch/sandals combo is too many pops of brightness.

I had no call outs last night for a change, normally Thursdays can be hectic because carers/GPs get nervous with weekends coming up Slightly surprised to find myself waking up in my bed at the usual time and worrying that I'd slept through a call but no....[phew face)
