here is my dress.

I have bought these shoes but have now seen these shoes.

Which do you prefer?

I did, I didn't want a vpl and no-one saw anything. And my dress was knee length too.

Matches site is down at the moment as the sale has crashed it, but what size shoe are you?

I think we can find something a bit more special.

MrsCampbellBlack · 12/06/2013 17:25

love these

MrsCampbellBlack · 12/06/2013 17:28

pretty

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 12/06/2013 17:34

I'd rather people saw my knickers than go knickerless. The idea makes me come over all shuddery!

TSSDNCOP · 12/06/2013 17:35

I like pair 2.

Plus I think you should wear drawers that match the shoes, not the dress Grin

ThereAreEggsInMyViolin · 12/06/2013 17:38

I absolutely love the dress and BOTH pairs of shoes. They are really beautiful. I would chose the comfiest shoes..... Sorry, bit of a boring answer. Grin

cornypedicure · 12/06/2013 17:47

I love all the links. I was drooling over those pink lkb shoes only the other day while googling.
I like the rounded toes best though.

Vibbe · 12/06/2013 17:48

With regards to the underwear issue, have a look at sloggi hot hips. They have a nude version, and there's no VPL.

Chubfuddler · 12/06/2013 17:51

That dress is not knee length. Op please do not go commando.

TSSDNCOP · 12/06/2013 17:54

OP these are the knickers you want Grin

MarshaBrady · 12/06/2013 18:02

Much prefer the first pair without the platform.

Gorgeous dress, go for nude underwear should be ok.

angeltulips · 12/06/2013 18:08

The first pair x1000000 - with a shorter skirt I think the 2nd pair will look a bit more essexgirlonanightout than perhaps you would ideally want on your wedding day. (

emsyj · 12/06/2013 18:24

If you still fancy gold or a 'bridal' style in leather I would look at Rachel Simpson - I love the 'Ginger' gold leather t-bars.

I also love BHLDN for unusual shoes.

EleanorFarjeon · 12/06/2013 18:27

I don't like either shoe, esp not the platforms which I think are a bit passé now. I love MrsCB's she linked to

Nude or no knicks - am amazed they put that picture up.

LoveGigi · 12/06/2013 18:52

Do not fear, I will not be going commando!

Mrs CB, I like both your recommendations. I'm a size 5. I haven't gone down the matches or the NAP route due to thinking that they would be out of my price range but they aren't much more than the LKB ones.

Regarding comfort of LKB shoes, I suppose I just expect discomfort, I've got a slightly wide hoof and do find that shoes generally don't fit me very well!

OP posts:
EleanorFarjeon · 12/06/2013 18:56

I absolutely love the dress btw. Those Sophia Webster shoes are just gorgeous.

MrsCampbellBlack · 12/06/2013 19:10

Wide feet do not work well with lkb - I wore the shilohs to a drinks party, honestly, I could have gnawed off my own feet by the end.

Lordy, am I the only person who went commando on their wedding day?

The best invisible knickers I've ever found are hanky panky thongs.

LoveGigi · 12/06/2013 19:22

MrsCB would you go for the rose gold or glitter Sophia Websters or another colour altogether.

OP posts:
LeGavrOrf · 12/06/2013 19:28

I totally agree with mrscb, the shoes she has posted are a great match. I personally think suede is a bit strange in the height of summer, and I am not sure about the shades of pink, although the second shoe you have linked to is better by far IMO.

That is a beautiful dress. I reckon the rose gold ones would look great.

I agree go commando. You don't want to wear nude sloggis on your wedding day.

LeGavrOrf · 12/06/2013 19:30

I would totally go commando.

Nobody would ever guess that a bride would not wear knickers on her wedding day. Unless you trip over in spectacular style nobody would see anything.

Mind you that dress might be a shade too short, depends how it fits you I suppose.

MarshaBrady · 12/06/2013 19:31

If you can get another pair then go for the non pink ones.

MrsCampbellBlack · 12/06/2013 19:34

I'd go for the glitter ones because I'd wear those lots afterwards.

invisible knickers

So glad LeGavrOrf would also go knickerless - now that sounds odd, but you know what I mean Wink

I can't tell you how much I love your dress Gigi - you are going to look amazing.

FamiliesShareGerms · 12/06/2013 19:35

What about these Laboutins with pink soles?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 12/06/2013 19:41

Cute ballet shoes for later
