What's the one thing you wouldn't be caught dead in?

I'm not sure I'd there's one thing I actually hate to wear. Probably an over the top hat. Or a SnapBack.

I wouldn't like to be caught dead whilst not wearing knickers though. That would be embarrassing, even if I was dead.

Uggs
Anything with a big logo
Sportswear unless I am actually doing a sport at that very moment
Do body piercings and tattoos count?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 02/06/2013 21:18

HerringScreams - I was driving when I saw a woman in nudey leggings. I was Confused "What the Jeff" until I realised they weren't her bum and legs.
Not good to have those kind of brain bleaching experiences when I'm behind the wheel Grin

cantdoalgebra · 02/06/2013 21:28

Eye makeup.

igglewoo · 02/06/2013 21:33

Here here crocs get my vote too. Disgusting things!
And onesies! Adults in babygrows - it's totally wrong.

alltoomuchrightnow · 02/06/2013 21:35

Cropped linen trousers (or most things linen)
Onesies
Real wool (unbearable)
Those tiny little trainer socks , they just pop off my massive feet
Anything from Bon Marche
Suspender belt
Pleather jacket
Padded / quilted jacket or coat

Startail · 02/06/2013 21:49

Oh dear, I'm wearing a scrunchie, crocs and cropped trousers of the safe frumpy variety.

However, I haven't been past the garden gate so I hope that's ok?

capercaillie · 02/06/2013 21:53

One-sie
Ugg boots
Animal print

Branleuse · 02/06/2013 22:23

peplum

KikeriFreedomCastle · 02/06/2013 22:26

Uggs
Crocs
Logos
waterfall cardigans
trousers or jeans (nothing wrong with them, but they don't suit me and I only wear for hiking)

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 02/06/2013 22:29

Blush my work trousers are Bonne Marche

Disclaimer: I have to wear black, respectable trousers (so no leggings or jeans type. Nothing figure hugging)
And being of a certain age I need to not be faffing about with buttons and zips if I need a wee.

They are just about indestructable too Grin

I only wear them to work, not IRL.

Ragwort · 02/06/2013 22:31

Leggings/jeggings/skinny jeans - gross.

Onesie/logo stuff/white trousers/tattoos/piecings/more than one pair of earings

What's wrong with a scrunchie though Confused?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 02/06/2013 22:34

Scrunchies are lovely but my dad did ask why I had a pair of knickers tied in my hair

Philistine Hmm

Auntlinny · 02/06/2013 22:34

Leggings except as tights. Any writing on clothes. Heels. A tight ponytail.

mewkins · 02/06/2013 22:37

Shorts. Haven't worn them since I was 12. Hate my knees.

Medievalmurdermystery · 02/06/2013 22:47

Most of the shoes at Hotter Shoes. I know they're supposed to be super comfy but to me they are so incredibly frumpy and old people-y.

C999875 · 02/06/2013 22:50

A fleece top and leggings. Don't get me wrong leggins can look lovely on other people but on me they're a definate no no, as for fleece tops, eww.xxxxx

sjuperyoni · 02/06/2013 22:57

Animal print. It makes me sick. Especially on women over 35 who are trying too stay 'young' looking Hmm pink leapord print leggings and a fake barbour jacket don't do anyone any favours never mind the one miserable woman i see every week in some combo of animal print/nude leggings/some bloody awful jacket.

Oh and fleece. I wore so many variants of fleece as a child the stuff makes me itchy and sweaty just thinking of it.

Foosyerdoos · 02/06/2013 23:00

I would never wear crocs but I love animal print, big earrings and sparkles Grin

TSSDNCOP · 02/06/2013 23:07

Harem pants
Play suit
Fur

Going back to read everyone else's now.

Foosyerdoos · 02/06/2013 23:09

I think wearing a onsie is only a short stepawaybfrom those people who dress up as babies. Onsies are just wrong.

blueshoes · 02/06/2013 23:10

Onesie
Skinny jeans
Jeggins
Platform shoes ala streetwalker
Trainers with a wedge heel

Ujjayi · 02/06/2013 23:14

Crocs
Cropped linen wide leg trousers
Elastic- back "slacks"
Stripper shoes (ie stupidly high and ugly platform shoes)
The shirt/jumper hybrid beloved by Next (because apparently putting together 2 separate items of clothing is beyond some people...)
Sportswear for anthing other than sport.
Acrylic knitwear.

Stripper shoes and those naff polyester shirts they sell in Primark with gold buttons. Otherwise not a lot of restrictions. There was a time I'd have sworn blind I'd never wear leather trousers or a midi skirt, both of which are among my favourites now. I feel safe with those two items though, my tastes will never change that much!!

mrspolkadotty · 03/06/2013 08:57

Anything with animal print, it just looks cheap on me. Other women make it work and look good but alas not me.
