Well done Grumpy :o

QueenCadbury · 29/05/2013 21:41

Evening all. Like most of you, I am also rubbish without sleep but luckily dh can survive on much less so he often takes pity on me and will get up if needed. Luckily dd2 only wakes occasionally during the night.

foxy glad you had a good night. Where did you go?

sleep love the NBs and parka. Sorry to hear that the weather is so dismal though.

amber that Issa is gorgeous.

I'm out on Friday night for dh birthday. I will finally wear the jaegar top and was hoping to wear with navy crops but only have sandals to go with that and as we're walking that combo is unlikely to work. Will just have to wait and see what the weather is doing.

Off to bed now after an exhausting day!

QueenCadbury · 29/05/2013 21:43

grumpy just seen your post. Fab shopping!

Drywhiteplease · 29/05/2013 21:43

Oops shop tried to type sleep but got my s words mixed up!
Have a good one sleep

Sleepwhenidie · 29/05/2013 21:46

Grin dry at annually retentive, do you only remember things once a year?

linus I love the throw too, fingers crossed for a reduction.

Wow grumpy that's a list to almost rival Novice's! Lovely things. Glad we are keeping the economy going a bit Grin. Speaking of which, it is shockingly quiet here, businesses must be struggling so badly, everywhere we go, holiday properties are all shut up and bars and restaurants are deserted, it's terrible Sad.

these are the steps I nearly fell headlong down this afternoon...a very scary second or two!

Annianni · 29/05/2013 21:52

Lovely parka and NB's Sleep.
Hope the weather gets better for you.

Wish I lived a bit closer to Bicester Envy

Annianni · 29/05/2013 21:54

Scary steps Sleep Shock

shopafrolic · 29/05/2013 21:56

Blimey Sleep good save. They look like the steps to the cathedral in Amalfi where I went on honeymoon. Beautiful.
I've just spent £££££££ at Matches. Have ordered Mavericks, and the Croft cargos in two sizes to try. Have also ordered a pair of cream Superga which I wanted as I felt guilty if I end up sending all the trousers back for any reason Blush
Well done a Bicester Grumpy I bet you're shattered!

shopafrolic · 29/05/2013 22:00

At

Sleepwhenidie · 29/05/2013 22:01

I think I would have slid all the way to the bottom had I lost it, there was so much rain on smooth stone GrinShock. Not sure the sandals are ever going to recover from the soaking either Sad.

Your order sounds good shop. I pondered some dark supergas today but they are a little too tight on me. I sized up in the NB's and they seem really comfy so far (been wearing round the house since we got back).

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 29/05/2013 22:07

Am I being thick? I really like these bangles but not so keen on the colour of my initial. Can anyone see any way of choosing the colour and the initial, or do you just get what you're given?

shopafrolic · 29/05/2013 22:25

Looks as though you get what you're given Grumpy

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 29/05/2013 22:34

booo. I'm boring old white - any of the other colours would have been fine.

Drywhiteplease · 29/05/2013 22:40

Grin Grin Grin yes Sleep that just about sums me up!!!
Poor you, those stairs look scary, hope you're ok

santamarianovella · 29/05/2013 22:43

dry would love to have a look at your closet, bet its color coordinated.
and very organized!
sleep that looks scary, glad your ok.
grumpy i love the bangles.my inital is a lovely shade of blue.

Drywhiteplease · 29/05/2013 23:02

HAve been trying to upload a pic or four but , you know me and technology, could take a while!! Tbh though, it's not such a big deal....apart from the shoes in clear boxes....quite beautiful!!Grin

libertychick · 29/05/2013 23:23

Grumpy you have bought some lovely stuff - the coral kitten heels are gorgeous. My initial is on a white bangle too but I really like it - very classy I think and would work with lots of different things. What about a DC's initial?
Wow Sleep that could have been nasty - good save.

libertychick · 29/05/2013 23:28

Grin at Shop ordering the superga to avoid feeling guilty about returns! That's the type of thing I do...I am currently too embarrassed to order from Atterley Road as I have returned every single thing I have ever ordered from there - I have a mental picture of meetings at Matches, AR, NAP etc with stats on display of 'worst offender' multiple returns customers and brainstorming sessions on what to do about the buggers?

shopafrolic · 30/05/2013 08:41

Morning all - it's twenty to nine and I have the lights on indoors and am wearing a jumper. It's nearly June. What the hell is going on?

BrandyAlexander · 30/05/2013 09:19

Morning all! I dare not hope that after two years ds has cracked sleeping. After 16 months he slept through a few nights I got wildly excited then the wakings began again. So tired though as was working till midnight.

I realised this morning why I always plan my outfits the night before! Stress! I am wearing a grey pinafore dress from Hobbs over a white tm lewin shirt. I tried 4 different black jackets before I was happy with look. Sort of. Grin Using my mitzy hobo from mulberry with orange trench and blue aquamarine and diamond ring, Tiffanys charm bracelet and a xoxo bangle watch. Lets just call this look eclecticGrin

liberty, what you said about advice and tell makes sense. I have a meeting today to explain why I am happy with my opening speech and don't want to change it. It's so frustrating as I will be under heavy pressure to do as I am told while being told its up to me.Angry The fact I am dressed like a school girl probably won't help!!Blush

shopafrolic · 30/05/2013 09:20

20% off at AR until midnight Sunday 2nd June with MAY20. Excludes WHistles, Jigsaw, Hobbs and NW3.

BrandyAlexander · 30/05/2013 09:20

Shop, were you able to use the discount code on any of the stuff you bought from matches? I have to say, nothing has tempted me, but that may be the thought of next months credit card talking!

shopafrolic · 30/05/2013 09:26

I didn't have a discount code Novice :(

Drywhiteplease · 30/05/2013 09:26

shop same here...I feel cheated by my Met Office app that said it would be dry..............

foxysocks · 30/05/2013 09:44

brrrr! am wrapped up in MNV orange cashmere over grey vest (j crew) and distressed straight leg jeans. plus thermal socks!

queenc we went to the place that starts with a Z on GRoad. they used to have a branch on stokes croft and one in clifton too. lovely seasonal fresh food. they adapted a scallops starter for me as I don't eat meat, then had seabass. DH had pigeon then steak. all came with lots of lovely veg, cooked to perfection. typical meal choices for us, lol.

i decided against the jimmy jimmy's as they were a bit overdistressed. i think for white/off white i need a cleaner finish. i swear the DHL man thinks I have a major problem, he's been delivering and picking up from me all week what with the matches, NaP and outnet orders and returns.
