Hi everyone, sunny day again here but the wind is bitterly cold and it is so very quiet everywhere. Had a lovely beachside lunch in a sheltered restaurant with dc's running around on the sand. Going to just see how we go each day with the weather but it's not looking great . sorry to hear about your booking disaster Grumpy, hope the new place turns out ok. Good weather will make a massive difference

Fab shopping Novice - especially love both the shoes and the Wang knit. Thanks for the lovely offer to pop into Magnolia silver for me but I was looking at the website over the weekend as I bookmarked it from your link and I saw they have a branch in Brent Cross and I plan to pop in there next weekend so will check it out in person.

Had a lovely dinner with DH last night. We went to a Lebanese restaurant and the food was delicious.

I played it relatively safe and wore a silk Theory dress I bought years ago in one of my favourite shops in London (a boutique in Spitalfields called Precious. The owner used to be a buyer for Havey Nics and gives really good advice), my Louboutins (ouch), opaques (sooo over them), a velvet Pink Soda Boutique jacket and some bling (3 Tiffany sugar stack rings and matching earrings and necklace DH has given me over the years)

It's so nice to be able to have a meal without having to coax a toddler into eating his dinner or without eating with one hand with a fretful baby on the other arm.

I love everything you bought, Novice.

Linus, I always enjoy not having to get crayons out for the DDs when I am out at night!

Neon pink Gigis arrived yesterday morning so I got to wear them in the sun. Not today, I think. I wanted to try the Me & Em leggings so have ordered. They didn't go on sale at Christmas. They are a ridiculous price for leggings so they'd better be as amazing as they claim or they will be going straight back!

Ds1 has suggested a trip to the butterfly house in a nearby town.

But heavy rain is due in a couple of hours, so we'd get drenched getting from the car, to the place.

Thanks Drywhite, Huddersfield is an hour and half's drive for me and I don't fancy trains today.

Ds1 has now suggested the Trafford Centre, as he has money to spend.

Ugh rain awful.

Yoga for me this morn while DH takes DC swimming, then hair cut, then DH taking DD for bike ride whilst DS naps and I can watch tennis. Yay! DH clocked 115 hrs last week, he's taking time off now if I have to pin him down myself.

My outnet Wang should arrive today. Have no idea what to wear out for dinner tonight, the weather has scuppered all my outfit plans gah. Would you guys wear suede boots if they have been sprayed, or is that asking for trouble?
