taken! sorry

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 24/05/2013 10:39

Thanks for the info Santa. I want to go there next fashion week and photobomb Emanuelle Alt, in my trackies and heels and with a fag in one hand and a bottle of wine in the other. You never know, I could be a star if they think it's avant garde!

I want to be a Paris fashion week nutter!

LinusDKD · 24/05/2013 11:00

Paris hey, it might work. After all, a few years ago Amy Winehouse was an inspiration to some designers.

One poor you! It sounds very painful. As if you didn't have enough to deal with health wise at the moment.

decam scarf can be plain or patterned and I love ballet flat but not sure about pointy/loafers. I have found an ancient pair of red suede Tod's driving shoes but they have holes in the sole so not right for this horrible weather.

Santa I like Bally, will have a look on their website.

So I have looked at this shred thing on Youtube and am tempted to try it. Downside is I haven't excercised since 1997 (only slight exaggeration) so I might drop dead after 5 minutes.

santamarianovella · 24/05/2013 11:20

paris, with that outfit, you will be featured in every blog there is!
Just remember the wackier the better here are some pointers for you
Anna russo,is the queen of all fashion weeks.

The line between day and evening wear is invisible lace

Wacky coats preferably in fur or exotic skins are a mustthis and this.
Don't be shy of bling ,blinging is a must!

QueenCadbury · 24/05/2013 11:39

I do wonder whether these people ever mind that they end up on 100s on Pinterest boards. I guess if you're that beautiful and trendy you don't care?

Love your photo sleep even if you have cheated by posting a photo of you in disguise!

shop good to see you too. You're very pretty. It's good to put faces to names.

mcnally and mrsr I've now added you. Anyone else I left out??

In a few minutes I may have no hair left as dd is pulling it playing with it.

What has happened to the weather? It's bloody freezing. Am I ever going to get to wear the unworn cropped trousers, sandals and havianas?

one poor you. Hope you feel better soon.

liberty hope you get to go shopping. I'm always really disappointed when dc don't enjoy being away. They just really do love being at home.

Plan for dd lunchtime nap is the shred and baking a chocolate cake Grin

Sleepwhenidie · 24/05/2013 11:51

Loving the cake/shred combo QueenC it's all about balance Grin. Sorry for cheating with the pic, will try and find a proper one later Smile

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 24/05/2013 11:52

Thanks Santa. I think I shall model myself on that lass that looks like Timmy Mallett. I like her. I shall stand up straight though, or is that her USP?

My coat only has a few buttons as they have all fallen off. I shall also get my dog to lie very still over my shoulders as I am ick about dead fur. Looking at the amount of dog hair on the floor, I may be able to knit something!

In my real, pre fame life. It is DS' last day at school, ever! I presume he will come home in a white shirt with Penises drawn on it. I will then have to spend until september pretending that I work really hard all day Sad

Linus Shred Shred Shred. It works amazingly well.

QueenCadbury · 24/05/2013 12:02

Going back to the jumpsuit discussion I love this. I'd love one like this for my 40th.

OneLittleLady · 24/05/2013 12:09

In order to make myself feel better, I bought a leather jacket. Now, it's not a designer one by any means BUT it's gorgeous, soft, REAL leather and I got it in the sale so it cost me £30! I'm very happy with it. I may or may not also have bought a Riddler/Joker/Penguin t-shirt as well Grin

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 24/05/2013 12:11

Lovely jumpsuit Queen. Perfect for the occasion

one. Jacket link please?

OneLittleLady · 24/05/2013 12:24

www.newlook.com/shop/womens/jackets-and-coats/brown-leather-biker-jacket_264609227

it's that one but in black not brown

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 24/05/2013 12:26

Great jacket One. What a bargain!

OneLittleLady · 24/05/2013 12:27

I love it! I've been umming and ahhing over one for ages but once it went into the sale, I knew it was meant to be. It fits into my wardrobe perfectly and as it's real leather, will last for ages. Definitely worth the money I paid for it.

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 24/05/2013 12:34

I agree One. It only takes something like that jacket to open up so many outfit combinations from what you already own.

Decameron · 24/05/2013 12:45

Lovely jacket, OneLittleLady .

Paris, we can say we knew you when you started out!

Linus, Russell & Bromley always have great red ballet flats, I have had them for years, but I don't see any on their website right now and they don't deliver outside the UK. I like these, there is also a lovely red Lanvin pair on Harvey Nics website but pricey.

OP posts:
Sleepwhenidie · 24/05/2013 13:05

Nice jacket One

linus do you like these or these?

Sleepwhenidie · 24/05/2013 13:09

I am committing HOC crime today, black pistols, black jacquard jeans and black lambswool sweater with grey stars on elbows. I am in mourning for summer [grumps] We have a PTA event at DD's school this evening, most of which usually takes place in the playground as space is so short inside. It's going to be a nightmare in this weather Sad

LinusDKD · 24/05/2013 13:26

Everyone stop buying leather jackets! I have never wanted one but thank to all of you I am actually looking at them now!

The Jimmy Jimmies have arrived and they fit! But only just...

So because of that (and a Melissa Odabash swimsuit I bought on the Outnet) I might give that shred torture a go. Will have a look if my old tennis or yoga gear still fits so I am wearing something vaguely appropriate.

I have found the 30 day shred on youtube, is that ok or do I need to buy the DVD? Will have to do it during DD's naps and as she is resisting sleep at the moment I won't start today Grin

Decam those Lanvin ones are beautiful but £££ and sleep those first ones remind me of a navy Pretty Ballerinas pair I have.

shopafrolic · 24/05/2013 13:42

Thanks QueenC I love this mutual photo appreciation society! Was a bit scared to put my face up!

QueenCadbury · 24/05/2013 13:47

Day 2 of the shred was a killer. For those of you that have done it, when can I expect to see my body changing . Not sure how I'm going to do it over the weekend without all our friends laughing at me!

What a bargain one!

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 24/05/2013 13:54

I can see Shop!

You look v cool shop, cool hair and cool glasses. Your DS looks snuggly cute!

It is so windy outside that I am seriously reconsidering the height of my heels tonight!

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 24/05/2013 13:57

Queen By day I could see a marked difference, particularly around the middle (though that's my problem area).

If your friends laugh at you then invite them to join you and show you how it's done Wink

DH often does the shred as part of his training. He does things like Tough Mudder so he's no wimp!

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 24/05/2013 13:58

Sorry, by day 10 I could see a marked difference.

shopafrolic · 24/05/2013 14:08

Thanks Paris - it is blowing a gale here, hailstones, 6 degrees - rubbish.

All the talk of jumpsuits made me remember this is in the back of my wardobe somewhere.....
Kookai jumpsuit

Sleepwhenidie · 24/05/2013 14:22

That's such a gorgeous photo of you and DS Shop Smile
