sleep , dry you both are hilarious. if you do sit next to himsleep could you tell him,how hard its been for me looking after the dcs these last two months along with the kitchen renovation and all the frustrations it comes with, and for that i totally deserve something from my want list! the chloe flats perhapsGrin.

MarshaBrady · 28/04/2013 21:37

lol Sleep and Santa Grin. Too right Santa! He hasn't got much time to get that superb gift, Chloe flats, better get onto it.

Amber and Hopefully thought your lipstick / make up look fabulous. So definitely the right choice, very chic. As I'm sure yours is QueenC.

Grumpy too dark? I imagine.

Love the green bag links too.

Drywhiteplease · 28/04/2013 21:41

Whisper "Chloe flats, Chloe flats .." In his ear sleep when he falls asleep!!!!!!!

MarshaBrady · 28/04/2013 21:42
Grin
libertychick · 28/04/2013 22:39

Grumpy you have described exactly what I am looking for in terms of a grey sweater so have done some hunting for both of us! Here you go:
Bench grey marl sweatshirt
Bench again
Iris & Ink
John Lewis collection
Gap
Woolovers

Hard to find the perfect one. As for Copenhagen what about a wallet or a clutch from Decadent?

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 28/04/2013 22:54

Thanks for all the lovely links, liberty. I especially like the Gap sweaters, the only trouble is I now want one in every colour! I've just bought a new wallet or I'd definitely be checking out Decadent in Copenhagen. Perhaps I still will - I'm a sucker for bags.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 28/04/2013 23:04

adding to the green handbag tally
or this little orange beauty

BrandyAlexander · 29/04/2013 07:34

Ooooh the lovely green bag links! I love the Proenza PS1 in green although may have missed the boat as NAP don't have it anymore. I also love the Balenciaga City in green. Sigh. I have told myself no more big purchases until I do this years ISA (I only remembered on 5 April this year) and pension.

Marsha, you're on....my Balenciaga looks forward to meeting you too.Grin

Liberty I have probably over described the bracelet! You can't see the diamonds is they are tiny and just used to hold the links together. It is a beautiful and simple bracelet though. Today's accessories are high street I think, just need to decide!

shopafrolic · 29/04/2013 10:16

Morning all. Two orders going back to store today. Very disappointed.
This Other Stories tee too boxy for me
and this ring
too small
and from Cos
random piece of sticky out fabric makes it look weird
and
might as well wear an orange sack - bloomin enormous!
So fingers crossed the Outnet Levis dress is a keeper.

OP posts:
BrandyAlexander · 29/04/2013 10:34

Grin@ Shop! Pity about the ring. It's lovely. I have learned that those gorgeous billowy smocky tops are about the worst things I can wear! I would need about another foot of height to be able to carry that off!

Hopefully · 29/04/2013 11:00

Shop think of all the money you've saved! I can't get on with Cos at all - I need structure around my middle - broad shoulders and wide saddlebag bits means I just look like a brick if I wear something that doesn't go in at the middle.

Have just spent literally two hours researching the perfect pair of neon coral trainers (obsessed, much?) and have ordered a pair that I am slightly worried aren't going to be neon enough, so will refrain from linking any of the many pairs I examined this morning in case they all sell out (because, surely, everyone is hoping to find a pair of neon coral trainers...). I am aiming to recreate this sort of look.

I am wearing my brand new (off) white topshop baxters and bertie flats today, with coffee coloured silk shirt. And olive zebra scarf and leather cuff to make it fractionally less sophisticated/dull. Still much more grown up than my usual look, but nice for a bit of a change. Am loving the white jeans (and am anticipating them being good with aforementioned trainers too), can't believe how many outfit choices they have opened up.

I also finally bought a new bra on the weekend. 30E!! Fits beautifully though. Now I need to cope with the concept of buying a couple more, so I don't just wear this one to death in a couple of months.

Annianni · 29/04/2013 12:06

Love those shoes Hopefully
And the neon coral.

Fab green bag links too.

Postman's just been with Liberty's navy Gap bag. I love it and will use it loads.
Thanks
I have an urge to pin it, so I'll have to do another bathroom shot :o

Brand alley have AH bags today, along with P Lim, Lanvin and Celine. Still £££ though.

Annianni · 29/04/2013 12:10

It's a bummer when you have to send everything back Shop
What's next on your wishlist?

Love those grey sweaters Liberty

Hope you got back ok Sleep
Very Envy of your fab weekend away.
What did you get your friend in the end?
Did you spot MrSanta?
Or should that be father christmas?! :o

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 29/04/2013 12:25

Love the pin Hopefully

The woman in the photo is wearing Nike frees isn't she? Nike offer a build your own trainers service with some neon options.

carrie74 · 29/04/2013 13:21

Hello All

Hopefully nice neons. I'd not mentioned before, but my running trainers (Nike) are grey and neon orange (although also v v muddy Grin). Who'd have thunk I was ahead of the curve last year when I bought them? Deffo worth a look at Nike, I'd say. In fact, when I was buying, I was wondering what had happened to "normal" trainer colours - they were all totally showy. I've grown to love mine though, even though I only wear them to do something I hate.

Busy weekend, but on Friday did a smash and grab in half an hour in Bath. Bought these in the Gap sale (not to be worn together Grin): loud shirt
loud trousers

Had also tried on some ballet flats and navy cropped trousers for work, and was all set to buy, but had a 20% off full price stuff online only. Asked if they'd match in store, they refused (which really surprised me bring Gap), so they didn't get the sale. In the end, my 20% could be used in BR as well, so overall, they got their sale, just not that area manager. Bought this lot online:
work trousers
work flats black
work flats nude

So a bit boring and work oriented, but much required.

Hopefully · 29/04/2013 13:47

lol, the ones I have bought are Nikes, so hopefully I'll be ok!

Carrie is it wrong that I can sort of imagine loud shirt and loud trousers in the same outfit? Grin

Ooh, some of my ebay buys have arrived, off to try on...

carrie74 · 29/04/2013 13:53

Actually hopefully I can see it working too...on someone way trendier than me (perhaps around LFW too!). Grin

AmberNectarine · 29/04/2013 14:01

I linked both those items on my blog carrie, and yes, I'd wear them together!

shopafrolic · 29/04/2013 14:27

Thought I'd seen them before Carrie! Nice shopping, and I love the nude flats.
Anni these are next for me:
teal dress
shift
I really need some dresses. I don't have any Spring Summer daytime dresses other than the Whistles one i bought. This is my first time trying Me&em so fingers crossed. Not sure i can afford to keep both.....

OP posts:
Hopefully · 29/04/2013 14:31

I love that shift shop - far too a-line for me, but gorgeous shape.

I am now wearing my new (via ebay) French Connection trousers and I love them, but they are more pink than they look on the website, so i'm going to have to dye them. Fab shape though, nice and relaxed.

Hopefully · 29/04/2013 14:32

And also I fit into a size 10, which is always a happy experience with trousers for me.

Hopefully · 29/04/2013 14:33

link fail. Try here

Hopefully · 29/04/2013 14:33

Grr. Stupid FC website. They are the nix nights one in holiday crush.

Decameron · 29/04/2013 14:37

DD2 is fine, thanks Marsha, apart from getting a bit grubby as she still refuses to have a bath. She is asleep right now so at her cutest!

Love the trousers, Hopefully.

Those dresses look great, Shop. I have the first one in pale pink. I hope it gets warmer soon so I can wear it. I also want to get the shift dress in cornflower, please let me know how it is.

I am dying to know if Sleep spotted Mr Santamarianovella.

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 29/04/2013 14:39

I'm going to have to sit on my hands after looking on the Sincerely Jules blog. I really want to but loads of shorts and sundresses even though I know we won't have the weather for them here in Britain. I should stick to European blogs rather than L.A. based ones!
