Zatchels flash sale

Zatchels are having a 24 hour 50% off sale tomorrow. It's advertised on their Facebook page. I'm tempted but don't know whether to go for a classic colour (probably the navy) or one of the metallics. Has anyone ordered from them and could you recommend a colour? Thanks!

When i looked at zatchels in a local dept store it looked like you got a pen too.

Their customer service is excellent. I've bought another one! A red one satchel for my sons girlfriend to put away until her birthday. All in all I have bought five bags, three satchels in one order, one barrel bag in one order and now another satchel.

I had to pay another two sets of postage but they replied saying they will merge all three orders and refund two of the post ages. I paid via paypal and this makes it much more easier.

That is is now! No more!

Aaaah I am meant to be catching up on sleep but can't because I must order something! I have a small red leather bag and a bigger but still small Ish purple/wine colour bag. Do I get a bigger satchel style one or a saddle bag or barrel bag? Bright leather or more classic go with anything chestnut or pewter? Help!

theonlyoneiknow I went for navy bottom of the navy/cream styles in case of getting it marked iyswim - I thought the bottom of the bsg may be more vulnerable.

used2bthin I ended up with more statement colours instead of neutrals in the end - it depends on how you will use your bags iyswim

I have a thing for bright leather bags but then end up with having to change bags as they don't match my outfits. Hmm. I may be tempted by bright leather but the site has been odd so it may end up having to be the pewter saddle bag in my basket...

Argh! Finally decide to go for it and now the site's down.
I have emailed them to ask if they will accept my order at half price even if I don't manage to get it done via the webpage before 5pm.

Whats4 - did that to me too. First time it didn't complete and then it said it wasn't processed. Papal shows one confirmed payment and another which seems to be not confirmed. I think customer services will be busy tomorrow.
Hope I get a bag.....

No you are not Remus I looked to see what all the fuss was about and must admit was sort of tempted until I discovered from one of the posts that there were not any compartments/sections inside and also were unlined ie plain rough leather which immediately made me think of bags I have bought years ago when on Spanish holidays!
I also cannot be doing with having to undo a buckle and then scrambling around inside trying to find something.
Lastly I wondered whether they scratch easily particularly around the buckle area ?
All things considered decided not to buy one.

The site went down for the last 90 minutes of the sale and despite being told on their fb page they didn't fix it and now they're saying that they won't honour sale prices for people who tried to buy. Disappointing customer service.

But GrandPoohBah isn't it odd how - despite ignoring all those posting pn FB to say the site wasn't working - they posted just past 5pm to say the say was over, and tough titties to everyone else.
