Zatchels flash sale

Zatchels are having a 24 hour 50% off sale tomorrow. It's advertised on their Facebook page. I'm tempted but don't know whether to go for a classic colour (probably the navy) or one of the metallics. Has anyone ordered from them and could you recommend a colour? Thanks!

Is the graphite a dark grey? It's hard to tell !!

Aaargh, also on mat leave and shouldn't be splurging! Treated my self to pewter metallic saddle and lacy satchel. It's an investment right?! So many pretty bags.

Just wanted to issue a note of caution - I ordered two bags from the website yesterday (in separate transactions). The site kept crashing, saying the sale had not completed and my payment had not been processed. I was paying with Paypal and kept trying until it eventually went through. Checked my Paypal account last night and I have FIVE debits to the company, so I'm expecting five lots of parcels (complete with five lots of £5.99 delivery charges) to arrive next week. I've emailed Paypal for their assistance, but am still waiting for a response.

Grumpy Zatchels said they had a problem, on their Fb page, early yesterday morning due to the amount of orders (I know that isn't helpful if you don't have Fb). They said to email them if you have a problem and they will sort it out.

So I've ordered 13" cracked leather leopard satchel. I do not need another bag, and as I said up thread I already have 16" pewter satchel. But I was powerless to resist.

Oops My hand just slipped and I ordered a 13" red leather satchel! I might send the navy saddle beg back when it comes. I have been hankering after a satchel for ages, then thought I might not use it so ordered the saddle bag. This morning I regretted it and would be kicking myself for evermore if I had not ordered a satchel.

I want a purple saddle bag, but can't really justify it. What are the insides like, does anyone know?

Given that the bags are supposedly individually made to order presumably they are not covered by distance selling regs i.e. no automatic right of return just because you change your mind?

I wonder whether they had a stockpile of bags and if not how long fulfilment of orders will take - this offer is being mentioned everywhere so they must have taken 1000s more orders than normal this weekend.

I bought DD a 17.5 inch pastel violet satchel for going to senior school in sept (colour her choice!). I suspect she will practically fit inside it herself... Would be a bonus if it takes a while to arrive as pretty sure she will be desperate to use it as soon as it gets here!

Do you think they have any lining in them? I need yes, need two. Don't get paid until Tuesday which is a shame.

I have a pewter small saddle bag. The inside is plain, rough leather, unlined and with no compartments. I love it and yesterday ordered the raspberry elephant print large saddle bag.

Today I ordered a couple of barrel bags for upcoming birthdays. The difference in my order numbers indicated that they have received just under 3000 orders over the last 24 hours! It could take a while.......

My 16 year old daughter has been coveting a satchel for ages, and wanted one for a school trip to Paris.

Delighted to get it at half price. She's gone for the 11 inch violet pastel.

They say you can return them mysteryfairy, but I have just emailed them to see if I can cancel the order for the navy one as that seems fairer to them TBH.
