Zatchels are having a 24 hour 50% off sale tomorrow. It's advertised on their Facebook page. I'm tempted but don't know whether to go for a classic colour (probably the navy) or one of the metallics. Has anyone ordered from them and could you recommend a colour? Thanks!

I have that problem too Annianni. I do like it very much but it's a reverse tardis sort of bag and I can hardly fit anything in it. It's definitely a holiday bag only for me.

My beautiful saddlebag has arrived!

I love it, but do agree with the 'reverse TARDIS' comment! (Ha! Such a Dr Who fan, my autocorrect changed it to all caps Smile)

It looks a lot bigger than it actually is (i ordered the large saddlebag as i wanted to be sure) but I couldn't fit all the things I need for a work day into it, so I guess it will be my social outings bag.

Do love it thou, and it got many admiring comments when it turned up in the office yesterday!

Mine are still "printed" - hopefully this means they are being lovingly stitched as I type :)

Bollocks, I ordered a small saddle bag. Oh well.

Does anyone else wish they'd ordered more than one bag as well? I didn't go for a satchel in the end and wish I had :(

Yeah, I wanted to order a second bag, but with the site dying on it's arse on Sunday afternoon I didn't manage it. I know they were offering discount codes to those whose orders failed to go through, but I didn't manage to get anything in my basket, so I had no proof that I'd tried to order.

I confess to having a bit of a splurge and got
Raspberry 16" elephant print satchel - for macbook
navy/cream 14" satchel for Ipad
Red saddle bag - large - for shopping/day trips
Silver barrel bag - for the holidays

I use a bag every day so they'll all be well used :)

Squalorvictoria why don't you email James and explain that you wanted to order another bag but couldn't get onto the site and see if he can help? I was in touch with him over that weekend about combining orders which didn't happen due to both the site issues and a dithering DD .When I mentioned that I couldn't get through he sent me a code to use any time this month.

Well James was as good as his promise and my bags were dispatched today well in advance of the birthday I wanted one of them for on Thursday! Very relieved!

Did everyone get the apology email? It doesn't mention 30 days anymore, just that things might take a 'lot longer' than the usual 10 days. I guess it is getting close to 30 days since the sale.

Yes, I tried ringing but the voicemail said to email. and yes, received the apology email that every one else got.

Nope, SolomanDaisy - I've not had a recent email. I'm still waiting on my order, but it says it's 'printing' now I think. I'm waiting t get it, to see how much I like it before I order the other bags that I couldn't when the sale was on.

What did the email say - that they're dispatching late?

I received mine. Will they soften up with use, does anyone know? It is very hard, stiff leather.
