Oh hope you do DryWhite.

Snowing rather madly here, SE London, but settling a little bit but mostly just wet, and very cold. Dh out all day, will be with the dc at home. Fancy ordering something for Spring for a change.

Pseud in answer to your fashion mag one, I think Céline fluff but never say never Wink. Especially if it means I can lounge by a pool.

What's your most bargainous oufit? As in the best discount.

I think
I&I sweater
J Crew t
peacoat
hmm jeans, might have to be the twiggys
and pistols half price

Decameron · 23/03/2013 08:53

It's miserable here, no snow though. Hope you make it out tonight, Drywhite.

That belt sounds great, Anni.

AmberNectarine · 23/03/2013 08:55

For me it's anything Juicy Couture. I've never seen a nice item they've made.

As for best bargain my £36 pistols are up there, along with a £50 Alexander Wang dress and a £13 Crumpet cashmere dress from the Outnet.

AmberNectarine · 23/03/2013 08:56

And my £1.99 eBay cropped Goldsigns.

Decameron · 23/03/2013 08:59

I have quite a lot bought at 30-50% off. Not sure I have a full bargainous outfit though.

Decameron · 23/03/2013 09:01

I have a Juicy Couture baby changing bag, Amber. Blush I don't use it any more though. It was black, not too bad.

MarshaBrady · 23/03/2013 09:12

Decam I'll have to join you, I have a juicy couture summer dress from NaP sale.

I always feel conspicuous when I wear it due to the frills and lightness of fabric. One of those gets compliments things we were talking about earlier that isn't really me. I'll probably keep it anyway, just because.

shopafrolic · 23/03/2013 09:20

Morning all - lots of snow here too (Herts) but it's thawing as it's falling which is weird!
Marsha I like that I can claim a bit of glory for your most bargainous items! - well the Pistols and the jeans maybe? (You forgot the MNV AV sweater?) :)
Amber £36 Pistols!?!?!?!?!? Envy

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 23/03/2013 09:30

Shop you are brilliant! If I threw on the mnv, you have kitted out that oufit. Why do I never mention the mnv?! I love it, I am wearing it today and I seem to forget when making lists.

And Anni for the peacoat inspiration.

So let's see that's
MNV sweater, Twiggy, J Crew, peacoat and pistols saving about £650 in one outfit. Not bad! MNV such good luck, love it.

Annianni · 23/03/2013 09:35

Blue croc FC belt is here and it would fit ds1. It's one of those silly waist belts but it didn't say that on the website Hmm

I have other FC belts that are huge.
Slightly annoying, but it's going back.

Along with a red angora cardigan that's itchy. And an enormous tshirt.

Annianni · 23/03/2013 09:37

My most bargainous outfit would be bowies for £51, or Sam Edelman flats for £25, Hudson jeans for £50 or Goldsign, and my peacoat.

AmberNectarine · 23/03/2013 09:42

See now that is cute Marsha but everything I ever see is lurid, gold embossed slogan tat. And there is always an enormous queue to try it on in Selfridges. WTF? I'm obviously not their target demographic!

Shop they came from a Matches clearance sale, one needed resoling which cost me £7 and job done. My first pair of Virtuals was £50 in the Selfridges sale so that was pretty good too.

MarshaBrady · 23/03/2013 09:45

I remember thinking Juicy Couture?! when I bought it, so I think of their stuff as rather OTT too.

And Amber too, you were great luck for the Marant heels from £450 to £145 at that Matches sale.

Drywhiteplease · 23/03/2013 09:54

Juicy Couture totally passed me by....just couldn't get over the velour Waynetta track suits....don't care what label they have, they are still horrible ESP worm with UGGs and orange tan....eeek. defo not in their demographic either Amber!!!!!

Has anyone seen the Times Magazine 25 things ( fashion) you should buy ? Now I'm making a list !!!!! But encouraged to see that I have a few bits.

I need want;
A bright tote in orangey / red
Bobbi Brown nude mail colour in Roza
New it trainers if I'm going to donn Lycra I may as well look semi chic when I'm sweaty
Pointy,flat, silver pump/ sandal

MarshaBrady · 23/03/2013 10:04

The track suits are horrible, I don't see them that much these days.

Drywhiteplease · 23/03/2013 10:10

No, I think they were popular when Juicy first came on the scene.

BrandyAlexander · 23/03/2013 10:18

Morning all! Snowing a lot here so I am v fetching Grinin Primark Breton long tee, hiding under thick beige polo jumper ( I think it's Oasis and I have had it about 10 years!), gap long and lean jeans and my beloved merrells natalya boots. Oh and jack wolfskin coat which dh bought as a present and I wasn't that bothered about but now love Blush. What's funny is that I didn't take my jewelry off last night or before shower so I am wearing diamonds. Looks v odd!Grin

MarshaBrady · 23/03/2013 10:18

I like your list Drywhite.

I'm finding it hard to think of what I would like, other than what I have seen so far:

J Crew shirt, polka dots or light denim one
Blush flats (still on list!)
J Crew silver pointy flats
Impossible to find leopard pointy flats
I still need a pencil skirt

MarshaBrady · 23/03/2013 10:19

I like your style Novice!

shopafrolic · 23/03/2013 10:22

Snap Marsha MNV sweater on here today too! With J Brand Sashas, Zara leopard scarf (not sure if it works but am cold!) And the Jo Whiley boots - which I'll have to change for snowboots if we head out. Sick of this weather now. Still coughing up a lung. Still hopefully next week there'll be the final decision about DH job and then we can get on with moving forwards away from all the stress!

BrandyAlexander · 23/03/2013 10:26

Ah you know me, I am not for saving anything for best! Can't take it with youGrin

MarshaBrady · 23/03/2013 10:31

Oh I hope so Shop, fingers crossed for you.

Novice Grin. I have always want to do the most mundane things in the most lavish things, just for fun.

One last thing, post arrived with Hobbs fine knit yellow sweater. It's not bright like the pic at all, more like this ochre colour. I really wanted something bright for the peacoat. It's is nice fabric, soft and silky, although quite fine, so a shame it's not the right colour.

The Filippa K t on the other hand is lovely, fantastic colour. Very rich and bright, so will keep that one I think.

shopafrolic · 23/03/2013 10:33

Marsha what size is the Hobbs?

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 23/03/2013 10:33

I mean this ochre one Farhi.

Drywhiteplease · 23/03/2013 10:33

Shop Thanks poor you. Fingers crossed for next week.
Novice love the diamonds and your outfit!!( where are you? Snow)
Marsha am lusting after those J Crew silver pointy flats too, just not sure they would suit my fat feet!
I'm sure someone has linked pointy leopard flats....will have a look for you.
I'm still in my pjs and dressing gown ( no diamonds) just can't get going this morning since life has ground to a halt.....,,6 episodes of RHoBH left, getting a bit sick of the incredible bitching tbh.
Can someone link the MNV sweater....I seem to have missed that!
