Haberdashery · 20/05/2013 19:27

I remember Floribunda, Ladame. I really liked it. We clearly have very similar perfume tastes!

Haberdashery · 20/05/2013 19:28

Also, HdP looks worth investigating. What shall I try?

And that sounds lovely, OneLittleLady.

pocketandsweet · 20/05/2013 20:08

As far I can see Florabunda is no longer available ( someone tell me if I'm wrong)...... And where did you get your Signiricci????? I've been reading the review information and it sounds wonderful! I'm getting too distracted I need to order a whole bunch of carefully considered decants....

So citrus/ green lovers please suggest your most loved ones . I love: Cristalle, Cristalle Eau Verte , Calandre, O de Lancôme, Premier Figuier Extreme. I will then compose a list of must try scents.

OneLittleLady · 20/05/2013 20:12

The Signoricci came from Savers pocketandsweet

Haberdashery · 20/05/2013 20:32

You must try Ninfeo Mio if you haven't already, pocket.

pocketandsweet · 20/05/2013 20:34

really onelittlelady I'm off there tomorrow then. I find Savers weirdly stressful. All the perfumes are behind the counter and there are always an army of disgruntled people queued up so I never feel like I can spend anytime. Tomorrow I shall make a point of joining the queue .... What colour is the box ?

OneLittleLady · 20/05/2013 20:35

The box is a dove grey with a maroony colour stripe and a thin white stripe down one side. It has some kind of lion or something printed on the top of the box pocket

pocketandsweet · 20/05/2013 20:37

Ninfeo mio is top of my list. Also the Gres (cabotine and cabochard). I am woefully uneducated on Guerlains ( although Nahema was a big favourite in the past ....very non green :) . I also have not smelled any of the Hermes Jardins....

pocketandsweet · 20/05/2013 20:39

And not green but I need to try the Tauer everyone raves about constantly....

Haberdashery · 20/05/2013 21:57

Which one? L'Air du Desert? Definitely worth a try. An extraordinary perfume. It's not at all my favourite Tauer but I am so so glad I tried it.

I got a bottle of Cabochard on Amazon for much less than a tenner so definitely worth looking there for Gres stuff. Haven't tried Cabotine yet, but I really must.

MrsSchadenfreude · 20/05/2013 22:09

Pocket - try Eau d'Hadrien, Eau du Sud, both Annick Goutal. You might like Vol de Nuit by Guerlain as well. And how about DKNY Woman? The cologne by Lynn Harris for M & S is also lemony and has good staying power for cologne.

ToysRLuv · 20/05/2013 22:31

Gah, why didn't the bold work!? Also, my arrangements/indentations are gone. Confused

CointreauVersial · 20/05/2013 22:49

Toys - I'd love to try Portrait of a Lady, and the Iris Nobile, but I'm not sure what I have to swap - I'll get back to you!

SOTD is Chanel Sycomore - I have had a sample for weeks, but forgot about it until this morning. Lovely, sharp and green, but vetiver, vetiver, vetiver (luckily I love vetiver...Grin ).

Talisin · 20/05/2013 23:16

Long time lurker, first time poster. Two or three people have expressed an interest in trying Cabotine - I have a 30ml EDT, used once, that I'm desperate to get rid of (it was hideous on me). Free to a good home! Or a bad home. Any home that isn't mine, basically.

OneLittleLady · 20/05/2013 23:23

I'm gutted toys there's a few on your list that I'd love to try but I know I have no swaps for them. Never mind, when I get round to ordering some samples, I will be able to join in the swapping Smile

ToysRLuv · 20/05/2013 23:34

Cointreau: Sure!
OLL: Oh, I'm certain it won't be all snapped up over night, so let me know when you 're ready for a swap.. Smile

OneLittleLady · 20/05/2013 23:38

Will do. I've got my eye on a few samples to try so when I've got some ordered and then tried, I'll hopefully have something to swap. I'm just a bit naughty and tend to buy FBs straight away instead of getting samples Blush

ToysRLuv · 20/05/2013 23:42

Fair enough, OLL! Wink I'd do that too if I could!

OneLittleLady · 20/05/2013 23:44

I'm terrible toys I counted up and I have 31 FBs!

ToysRLuv · 20/05/2013 23:57

I just did too, out of curiosity. 38 FBs!! Plus 18 minis/mediums and a around a gazillion (maybe less) samples. Blush

BUT if I had lots of money, I'd probably have a walk in wardrobe full of them

ToysRLuv · 21/05/2013 00:01

However, lots of my bottles are unwanted (gifts, some are parts of e-bay bundles), so should sell them, really.

Only have a core of maybe 15 bottles that I actively use.

OneLittleLady · 21/05/2013 00:02

I too would have a walk in wardrobe full of FBs if I could. Not sure we'd have space for one in this flat though. Is that a justifiable reason to move? Grin

ToysRLuv · 21/05/2013 00:07

Oh, yes. If you had that much money you'd live in a mansion! Grin

I live in a bottom floor garden flat, so could build an extension or a special perfume shed, but, sadly, don't own it.

However, some time in the future, when (not if!) dh's business really takes off, a climate controlled perfume shed is definitely on the cards! Wink

Fuckitthatlldo · 21/05/2013 09:34

Oooh Toys, I'd love to try some of your Tauers...

My swapsies list is as follows:

Samples

(all samples are pretty much full - only been dipped into two or three times)

Tauer
Ambre Sultan
Arabie
Caron
Tabac Blond
Narcisse Noir (it's the parfum so the vial has only been three quarters filled)
Grossmith
Shem el Nessim

I also have a FB of Paloma Picasso going spare if anyone's interested. Again, only had a few sprays out of it.

Smile
