A lovely card with a really gorgeous piece of writing in it from ds1.
A kiss from my 3 year old.

CuttedUpPear · 10/03/2013 09:03

Peanut butter on toast in bed and a chocolate bar. And lots of hugs. And the washing up done with no fuss.

Why? Are we expecting material goods? Hmm

MountainOrMolehill · 10/03/2013 09:06

Each dc walked into the bedroom with a little bunch of daffodils whilst dh carried the coffeeGrin

Get downstairs and there's a bouquet and two naice bottles of wines and cards near the fireplace.

Home made card from eldest from school.

More than happy with my little lot.

diamondee · 10/03/2013 09:08

buttercrumble · 10/03/2013 09:08

A garden pot plant from DD (4). I don't even have a garden but I love it because she chose it and I'm hoping it lives a long life indoors Grin

FinnTheHuman · 10/03/2013 09:10

Chilli chocolate, chilli cheese, and a bottle of piña colada to wash them down.

Toast in bed, and I've just sent DS to his dad to fetch me my third cup of tea, while still in bed.

MrsCampbellBlack · 10/03/2013 09:14

Homemade cards and necklace - daffodils were given to me yesterday. And some new perfume

binger · 10/03/2013 09:14

My fav chocs and creams and home made cards, and dh made me a bacon roll Smile . Best of all were the kisses and cuddles.

SizzleSazz · 10/03/2013 09:16

Homemade cards and tea in bed. Roast chicken and cake promised for later Smile

wheredidiputit · 10/03/2013 09:25

Some nice homemade cards from DD'S.

And a biscuit ds (3yrs) made at nursery last Thursday and it's been sitting a bag he also made. I was not allowed to eat when he bought it home it had to wait til today. The thought was there Grin.

They also got me some flowers.

JugglingFromHereToThere · 10/03/2013 09:26

2 bars of chocolate from DH (left here whilst he went out birdwatching Hmm)
A "Happy Mother's Day !" and a kiss and hug from DS.
DD made me pancakes with chocolate and banana's yesterday with a cuppa Brew - possibly the first one she's ever made me.
So, that was nice ! Smile Thanks
A slightly odd assortment of blessings, but lots to be thankful for x

IShallCallYouSquishy · 10/03/2013 09:29

I got a sloppy 9.5month olds kiss and a very thoughtful personal card from her Smile apparently she wanted to take me on a picnic but the weather has scuppered her plans. Think we are going to have a picnic in the living room later. First Mother's Day has been pretty amazing so far Grin

Mrsrobertduvall · 10/03/2013 09:32

Chocolate buttons.
And a meltdown from dd about maths gcse.

LoopDeLoops · 10/03/2013 09:33

Zilch. For the first time ever, he forgot. Remembered his mum though. Hmm

Annianni · 10/03/2013 09:36

One shop bought card, one home made card and perfume.

And an extra hour in bed.

Abigail9580 · 10/03/2013 09:38

Nothing! It's my first Mother's Day, so I guess he's not had the practice yet!! ( I remembered his mum)

Abigail9580 · 10/03/2013 09:38

But happy happy Mother's Day to you all. Mwah mwah xxx

MrsKoala · 10/03/2013 09:39

My first Mothers Day. I was only expecting a card but got Game of Thrones dvd (funny that DH really wanted to see that) and a lovely necklace and matching earrings and a really gorgeous card - its amazing what a 6 month old can do Grin

However, this was because DH is on a warning after my birthday last month, where i got a card saying Happy Mothers Day and a frying pan Confused .

angelinterceptor · 10/03/2013 09:39

My DD has been up making my a microwave choc cake and icing it.

Also lovely card from her and my DS.

They also bought me the Skyfall DVD as I am the only person in the family (country) who hasn't seen it yet!

Mugglewhump · 10/03/2013 09:40

A handwritten card from Dd 5 " To Mummee, I will do al your jobs toodae, luv Sophie, Georg and James" . A sausage sandwich and cup of tea in bed and my annual mothers day present of a bottle of gin!

Snuggles with my week old baby boy and a kiss from my 22 month old Ds followed by a loud trump!

What more could I want ?

HandMini · 10/03/2013 09:43

Two homemade cards from DD1 (nanny - assisted as opposed to DH's doing). A bit of a rough night from poor little DD2 who is only five weeks and has a cold. Looking forward to a day with DH around and going to get him to do all the cooking...I don't care if its toast and omelette as long as I don't have to go in the kitchen.

daisydoodoo · 10/03/2013 09:43

An unexpected present of a bead for my bracelet. I know a lot of style and beauty afficionado's will think this beyind tacky, but I love my trollbead bracelet. Its not got many beads on but all chosen by my gorgeous dc.
