I've found that Curvy Kate's padded anythings are so stretchy it's unbelieveable - I posted on another thread I think about having to buy a 28 because there's an 8 inch stretch in the band!!!

well my Cleo Juna's arrived yesterday - 34FF and 34G - and so far, fingers crossed, I have worn the 34G for a day and a half and no pain! It has not gone bad!

I will give it one more day, and then keep it.

Woo hoo! One sorted, just waiting for my Fantasie Elodie now, in a 34FF as recommended by marriednotdead. I really want a non padded one too. The Fantasie Kara is ok, but the central gore a little high and shows under a lot of my tops.

The Juna is great, I know a lot of people here have tried it, well worth a go if you haven't! I just wish it came in more colours, seems to be nude, black and white only.

You sound as if you are going to be one of those people that has to try many styles until you find what's right for you. Have you worked out what kind of shape suits your boobs yet? If you want to add/boost a bit more, there are many styles that have padding in either the bottom or outer edge of the cups, but that is a personal choice for you to make.

Although your boobs are not as big as some of the other ladies on this thread, it doesn't mean that the right bra for you will be easy to find. What it does mean though, is that you have more options to chose from in the shops. Depending on how close together (or not) your boobs are, you may find that the bigger or smaller band will have a better position for the cups.

Juna also comes in different guises with other names! Poppy, Ellie, Darcy and the latest, Cara, are all incarnations cut on the same pattern. Because the fabric used varies a little, so does the firmness of the fit. Cara seems to be coming up a little small, so if there's not a dot of extra space in your current version, you may need to go up a size.

Sorrel, when measuring the band do I just measure straight across from edge of hooks to the other edge...right across the cups or do I measure around the base of the cups?

In which case its 28" and 33.5 stretched. For comparison my snug fitting band in the Delphi is 26.5 and 32.5 stretched.

Hmmm could SimplyBe be getting Fauve to vanity size for them? Its not just a one off as the balconette was the same fit if not a little looser

Oh and I have tweeted @SimplyBeUk as according to their online bra fitting guide we add 4inches or so...I'd be in a hilariously wrong 36 or 38 cup according to them

OK, I've just measured my Fauve Lucia half cup in chocolate brown in a 30G.

26" and 31 stretched.

Quite a difference.

As a comparison, my Cleo Juna in a 30G is 25" and 30".

Mine feels more like a 34 band...but in both of them that I ordered?

My Fauve Lucia (the balcony/plunge) 30GG definitely feels like a standard 30 on. Haven't got tape measure to hand but I tried it a few days ago

I've been doing some research on Bratabase. The Lucia in a 32FF should have a 26.5 ish band unstretched. Couldn't find the measurements on there for a 34 but a quick look at other bras in a 34 suggest that 28 would be the unstretched band size.

So what is going on? Two Fauve bras one a 32F one a 32FF but really aren't 32's at all.

Clearly a real 30 band would be far too tight but I wonder what it would be like from SimplyBe?!

I'm now even more confused if it's a 34 pretending to be a 32 is the cup size all wrong too?

Has anyone on bratabase listed the wire measurements? ACtually, Sorrel's 30G should have the same sort of wire size as the 32FF in theory so maybe compare measurements?

Good point SC..OK Sorrell...using a bit of string I make the wire in mine about 12" could be out by a little bit but not much

Bratabase research suggests almost all Fauve half cup wires in a 30G or 32FF are 11.8" so, closer to my measurenent. Could Fauve be this erratic in individual sizes or am I missing something? FWIW I measured along the outer edge of the wire but am fairly sure that wouldn't account for wildly different measurements.

So, I reckon I have a 34FF not a 32FF . It is definitely labelled as a 32FF. I really doubt I could fill a 32G in any other bra.

I wonder if that is the only reason they still had it (wasn't it OOS elsewhere?) ...maybe there were a load of mislabels and they've been sent back numerous times!

That would make sense, yes it was OOS everywhere in the ruby colour... just a bit about both the hc and balconette being mislabelled

SimplyBe have the balconette (although could be the half cup I get sent as that happened this time - ordered the balconette in 2 different cup sizes, got one balconette, one half cup which they don't even have listed on their site) in various sizes..I might order the 30G just to measure it and see.

Hell, who knows it could be the 32FF I really wanted. Or it could be anything really!

Remember, Fauve is made by the same people who make Freya and Fantasie. They are all cut quite generously as a rule, usually a cup or band large (both in the case of Belle full cup!)

I've ordered the Lucia balconette from SB in a 30FF, 30G and 32G just out of interest. I'll measure all the bands and wires and report back. It'll be just my luck that it's only the 32's that are wrong.

Married, that is interesting and I totally take it on board but on Bratabase people have measured their Fauve 32 bands as 26.5" unstretched, my one is 28" leading me to believe SimplyBe have some 34's mislabelled as 32.
