Amber do you know I think your new bag has to make you skip a little bit more than the Rocco and the Raoul. And if it doesn't then go for smaller things until one comes along that is just as good.

Morning all! So gloomy today so banana republic orange trench has gone back in cupboard and back to black cashmere coat. Am wearing blue pinstripe dress from John Lewis collection (aw 2012) blue petite fenn wright Manson jacket (2011) and lk Bennett sol boots which I love but are crappy. £300 and need re soling every 10 wears. Jewelry I haven't worn a ring all week and fingers have felt bare so am wearing aquamarine and diamond cocktail ring, simple blue stone Swarovski bracelet, Tiffany diamond pendant and my beloved Thomas sabo charm watch. Chloe marcie bag today.

I think maybe that's the right decision with the bag Amber, you are hesitating too much over it and its a big purchase, you have to really love it.

Just got dressed, had a complete change of mind, am in Vivienne westwood with black opaques and bikers, will throw black parka on and take Falabella. Flippin weather!

Have ordered the scarf. Have decided to stagger purchases (as NaP have free shipping), so I can have something nice each week!

There is this lady on All Worn Out who keeps replacing her buttons. She must be a bad influence because I just spent 3.50 on eBay on silver skull and crossbone buttons to replace the really lame gold buttons on my cruise ship singer jacket. (To be worn with my most straightshooter clothes, naturally.)

Freezing here too - had to put on a cardi and replace pointy toe flats on bare feet with suede chelsea boots worn with woolen socks. Boo.

Dec loving the Chinti&Parker. Would be an easy DIY if I still had access to silk screening stuff. I really wanted one of their oatmeal Aran knits (NAP, ironically) but it's sold out worldwide.

Today wearing straight legged black cotton trews from Zara, khaki long-line top from Baukjen, topped with a Goat library ebay bargainous beige jumper and Cos scarf (pinterest.com/pin/283023157804619541/). Stella & Dot bracelets and suede pointy knee high dark brown boots under the trousers (thought it was a bit different to normal black).

Got a new (say it quietly) Boden 'new for summer' in the post today and am really rather impressed with a few bits, like these slingbacks in gold which I think I may have to order... I know I said no more, but DH has been shitty lately, so I think I deserve them. I do have a discount code with free delivery/returns so I needn't feel bad. Should I?

Anni glad the Whistles tees are working for you. Shame they don't have the red in my size, perfect colour for me and I'd have bought one for that price.....Lots to look at on this thread - must catch up but before I do must tell you.
I went to nursery to pick DS up wearing MNV jumper, indigo JBrands, Hudsons, leather jacket and fur gilet. There was DS, playing outside in the rain, sitting in the middle of a raised bed, filled with mud, covered head to toe - sees me, jumps up, big smile, runs towards me for a cuddle. I'm ashamed to say I uttered the immortal words "I can't pick you up darling I'm wearing cashmere!"

Oh Frugal you are so right. I loved my boot cuts worn exactly as you describe....really long with super high heeled boots, the only time my legs looked long!!! Problem is " boot cut" has been a dirty word (even though K Moss was spotted wearing some last year) for so long, I've kept my 2 fav pairs somewhere in my spare room ( storage rules don't apply in that wardrobe!)
The search continues....I'm taking solace in the search for the perfect Breton top ( Anniannior shop?) I will find them!
P.s I'm actually not huge but just short !

grumpy I love those slingbcks. In fact I loved a lot in the summer boden catalogue and had to stop myself ordering stuff as in reality I probably wouldn't like it at all. It just all looked so summery.
