Outnet Clearance Sale is on!

QueenCadbury · 12/03/2013 10:18

foxy sounds like afun night. I like those gap bags last year but the leather is thin and there's no inside pockets so a nightmare to find purse etc.

I also can't stop thinking about pointy flats and nearly succumbed to the boden ones but the reviews aren't great in terms of comfort so I decided against it. I also wonder whether they'll be a one season wonder and look dated next year and whether the ballet pump will be better. I want navy so not a huge choice around anyway.

carrie74 · 12/03/2013 10:19

Ooh, good night Foxy I need to do that with Lucy, show her my Aniston pins. I've emailed her a few links when I've seen things like good pricing on Splendid Ts etc, but she's trying to lose a bit of weight before buying.

Shepton definitely a good idea Grin. Let me know so I can come too! There's also the Kilver Court designed stores down there: Isabella Oliver / Toast / Aubin & Wills / cashmere a plenty - worth a look. Although I like the GAP tote, I don't generally buy High St bags anymore as they just irritate me compared to my Mulberrys, which hold up so much better [strokes Daria satchel].

Liking the sound of a Dior find, Amber...

Also loving the choice in flats this season. Am wearing the lizard Hudson boots today (FINALLY been resoled), and they're SO awesome. Definitely a crossover piece (the Holy Grail).

Foxy, I'm wondering if ballerinas [whisper] may have had their day? I actually find they hurt my arches a bit too much, so would want something slightly more supportive. Liking pointies or slipper shoes though.

Sleepwhenidie · 12/03/2013 10:20

Gah - just as I was about to get off MN and interact with my children!

AmberNectarine · 12/03/2013 10:48

Oh yes, I won a Dior leather skirt on eBay for £10 due to poor listing. Just hope it fits me now!

My friend is an area manager for Matches and discount is 40%...

Sleepwhenidie · 12/03/2013 11:09

Thanks Amber - that's interesting Smile. Well done on the Dior skirt!

Think we have crashed the outnet server, I can't check out Sad

MarshaBrady · 12/03/2013 11:30

I just checked out on 3 x Iris & Ink cashmere jumpers for £20 each.

But I did it so damn quickly when I finally got them in my basket I didn't dare keep looking for other stuff!

Sleepwhenidie · 12/03/2013 11:37

T'was the best strategy Marsha! I just called customer services and they managed to reserve a blazer for me but a dress I wanted they couldn't even reserve. Couldn't check out either!

MarshaBrady · 12/03/2013 11:39

Great they reserved the blazer, good thinking!

foxysocks · 12/03/2013 11:44

can't get onto the outnet for long, keeps kicking me out. some nice jersey blazers if anyone wants one.

which ones did you get marsha? i was looking at those fine knits the other day

MarshaBrady · 12/03/2013 11:50

I did a grab and run!

A dark grey cashmere v neck fine knit
A pink cable knit cashmere
An orangey / red fine knit

I'm having trouble getting back on to link. The orange one is like a fine knit version of the mnv but for £20 I just went with it!

carrie74 · 12/03/2013 11:53

Can't even get on to look. Well done Marsha for actually getting anything!

Awesome Dior find Amber

foxysocks · 12/03/2013 12:06

well done, grabbing and running was probs the only way you would have got them!

i can't navigate it at all either carrie, oh well.

if you don't like any of them marsha don't send them back, let me know!

Annianni · 12/03/2013 12:06

I was on the outnet when the clearance started but hadn't realised.
I managed to get 2 pairs of flared jeans and a Helmut Lang vest in my basket but then I got booted out and haven't been able to get back in.
I never thought about ringing them [thick emoticon]

That navy coat has just arrived, and it's nice but the sleeves are too short and there's too many strings going on... But I've no chance trying to arrange a return at the moment.

The m&s grey sweatshirt (that I bought yesterday)Hmm went in the sale last night, £21 reduced from £35
I managed to order another one, but I haven't had a conformation email, and customer services haven't replied to my query about it.

Well done Marsha I never thought about checking out straight away... you're a professional :o

MarshaBrady · 12/03/2013 12:17

Ha Foxy I thought two things. Firstly if I don't like any of these there'll be someone on mnv who will have it.

I was only going to get one, then thought sod it and kept going.

And two, I actually had that faster palpitation thing when ordering stuff. Ah the good old days Grin.

I hope you can get that discount on the M&S Anni.

QueenCadbury · 12/03/2013 12:23

Great shopping everyone. All I bought today is the weekly supermarket shop Grin

carrie do you really think ballerinas have had their day? Surely they're a classic (aka boring?).

Annianni · 12/03/2013 12:32

Weird... I post on here and the confirmation email arrives.
The power of mumsnet :o

Another sweatshirt is on it's way to my local store. I feel happier about it now, getting it for that price.

MarshaBrady · 12/03/2013 12:42

Good luck on here!

Shop just saw your comment on pin (I never see comments until I look at the boards! Just having a look to see how I can incorporate pink into wardrobe).

The red trousers here are Closed on Matches. I usually put the link when doing a screen grab, should have done it.

MarshaBrady · 12/03/2013 12:42

And good one Anni.

carrie74 · 12/03/2013 12:54

I don't know QueenC, but I'm a bit bored with them (still wearing them for work, mind). I think because there are so many more options available now as well, and with the whole pointy toe thing going on, it seems they've probably had their 15 minutes.

But yes, will always be a classic (in the way French Sole have been around forever), but then the loafer's been around forever, but it's still had its fashions come and go IYSWIM?

AmberNectarine · 12/03/2013 13:06

I did outnet smash and grab too, got I&I pink/navy stripe sweater, cobalt boyfriend cardi and cobalt dress, Helmut lang vest and MiH storm blue Paris for £100 total. Hope some of it is good!

Annianni · 12/03/2013 13:15

I did it :o
Just ordered some Current/Elliott jeans, Mother jeans and a Gryphon navy pea coat for £96.88
Full price they would have been £775

I didn't bother looking for anything else. The HL vest was there but it's dry clean only, even for £14, I'll stick with h&m vests for now.

shopafrolic · 12/03/2013 13:23

I am literally sitting on my hands to not open Outnet!

AmberNectarine · 12/03/2013 13:24

They had that Vache sweater you like for £21 shop.
