Long haired lovers what do you DO wiht your hair?

i have shoudler loneght hair and have it up today in pony tail as i am going swimming later

HOWever i always feel that i look like a sperm wiht it up. cnat do anythign wiht thefront really.

what do you ot do with your hair and what gear do i need?

I have a heavy fringe, so escape the sperm thing. I saw someone the other day who had longish hair ina pony tail, with a section of the front, kind of quiffed up to one side with a big flower in it, looked very fifties

Never put my hair up except for bath or shower.

yeh have it in a nice scrunchie, some flowery ones and always color co-ordinated to go with outfit
with hair gelled or waxed into place
the girls give me a french plait sometimes (when they can be arsed)

Can't do fancy -end up with bits sticking out everywhere (the been-dragged-through-several-hedges-backwards-look ).
If I tie it up (usually only at home) it just tends to be a pony-tail

use a bit of wax instead
but only a tiny bit
otherwise it looks like ya dipped ya head in a chip pan

Did you ever watch teachers, the blond woman's hair in that always looked good, again the quiffy type thing with pony tail

I have long hair and i would never tie it up, but that's because i age 10 years instantly. Would love to but i just don't have the face for it.
Ponytail with a slightly longer fringe swept to the side?

is it all one length? If so, you need to have a long 'fringe' cut into it, with the layer long enough to stick behind your ear iyswim.

Then it won't annoy you, but when you put it in a ponytail, you have swishy bits at the front to prevent sperm look.

They have some nice ones in accessorize, I like them, particulalry on days when my fringe won't play ball. It would have to be a case of buying one and finding out, some people look nice in them, others look stupid, depends on what clothes you were wearing too!

Redken stuff is great, I've bought loads that made my hair feel gunky, but their stuff is good, plus a good, wide spiral blow dry brush.

I've given up un straighteners - they kill my hair.

What about 3 curlers in the front every night?

I always straighten my fringe and keep the flyaways in place with wax

I sometimes put mine in a pony tail, sometimes, just the side bits in a pony tail, sometimes I put it all up in a sort of rough french pleat with one of those big clip things.

I have a little forehaead and fringes suit me, as long as they start from quite far back, which is cool with the heavy fringe look. Can't do graduated fringes though, as there is no room to graduate

But what olive is describing is not really a fringe. I used to have it like that but am currently experimenting with a proper fringe. You have a side parting and layers at the side that don't go into your pony tail but are still brushed to the side.

oh yes have them but when they dont go into a pony tail they are attractively swep t up on the top of my head liek a mad woman
