Lovely colour dress...

moondog · 05/04/2006 21:56

Lovely dress Piff.
I would have send gold strappy even before reading your answer.
Not bronze though-too 80s.
Am thinking of those ridiculous girls cavorting and 'singing' in the Tight Fir video (The Lion sleeps tonight)

Can't be more specific unfortunately seeing as I haven't been to a laydeeez shop since about 1959.

moondog · 05/04/2006 21:57

(Where in States?
Holiday too?

Piffle · 05/04/2006 21:58

moondog · 06/04/2006 00:11

Christ no Piffle!!!!
The sort of thing an overweight matron in the home counties would wear (with tights) to a sequence dancing session.
You need something funkier.

puff · 06/04/2006 00:14

gorgeous dress

Some killer gold heels required definitely

fairyfly · 06/04/2006 00:15

How about these, i understand at first glance they may look awful but if you brought American tan tights and a leather jumpsuit........\link{http://bluefly.com/pages/products/detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=2010991519&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1165&N=933&Ne=500000&Nu=Product+ID&Ntk=all&Ntt=1081553&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial#here}

Somehow the name just sprang to mind Grin

And so cheap!

moondog · 06/04/2006 00:20

Too ribbony and floaty-like the frock.
Need more of a contrast G.

georginarf · 06/04/2006 00:20

\link{http://www.asos.com/Paris-Hilton/Sexy-Strappy-Sandal/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=59508&cid=1431\ignore that it says Paris Hilton}

gold shoes v. difficult - so many look like the kind of thing Anne Widdecombe might think was 'fun'

moondog · 06/04/2006 00:21

Not bad george

puff · 06/04/2006 00:22

those plum ones are lovely - fancy them myself

SaintGeorge · 06/04/2006 00:23

And at mere pin money prices moondog ..... in my dreams.

puff · 06/04/2006 01:01

I think \link{http://vivaladivacom.drct2u.com/productcache/VLD/BO2650/EX018NA_ORIGPO_0.html.gz\these} would work

Piffle · 06/04/2006 10:04

Wow at all the replies!
Am very liking thse plum ones, but as Mondog says, could be too much with the floaty frock and not sure about colour match
The paris Hilton asos ones are best but its bronze not gold, does that matter?
