I think the Office ones would spoil the dress are. I think the dress need something with an open toe. I like both of the ones Frenchgirl linked and think either one would look Fab

I agree with Anniemac's comments - go with what you feel comfortable in and what you like. On a website full of different women - there is never going to be concensus.

didn't see the first M&S ones - they'd look great too. I like that they're not too high - High looks good but for me are agony to walk in let alone bop!

Also if you're on a budget or you wouldn't wear them again I'd go for the M&S ones.

god there must be some shoes somewhere to go with that lovely dress

but actually think those M&S ones might be fine anyway. and agree ankle straps can cut off your legs and make them look shorter.....

because if you can't find suitable gold strappy sandals (and they're too uncomfy) maybe something bronze....or something not strappy.

Go and try those Dune ones Piffly one, they might be comfier than you think.....

piffle, I saw some in Next yesterday - sort of an "old" gold colour, with heel, not too high, strappy - have you been in a Next shop to try any on?

I went to a Next superstaore in Lincoln, there was a few nice pairs, one really nice brown with the right coloured beading but there sizing is rubbish as is way too wide for me
