Anyway, TK Maxx has loads in, just bought a pair of these for £39.99!

Lemarch...someone bought them for me about 16 years ago believing I was a size 7! They are just way too big for me and look massive...

I love DM's mine are red patent ones. I used to have purple ones when I was a teen and wore them to bits.

I was just looking atDMs yesterday when shoe shopping with DH.

I used to wear the black shoes in the mid/late 80s. I wore them with black tights and lycra dresses/skirts. (I have gone back to that style now.. even though I am a bit old for it :) ). i also bought a pair of bubblegum pink 8 hole boots. They were fab. I remember they rubbed my heels to bits, but eventually they were comfy. I wore them to death. In later years I dyed them black - and they kept going for ages.

I think I need to get back into DMs.

I'm looking forward to the autumn to get mine back out. I've got the DM phoenix Jara biker boots which are the best boots I've ever owned. They look great, even at 2 years old having walked a regular 20 to 30 miles a week in them autumn to spring. I have to be prised out of them when the weather warms up as they are so comfy.

I've also got the classic 8 hole boots in patent pale pink.

Val - have you tried them on ebay? Docs go for a good amount and you sont get many big sizes for sale in the womens boots

I gave my black DM boots and green shoes away a couple of years back, wish I'd kept them. I'm really liking those knee length mel boots.

This thread was made for me! I have 8 pairs of DMs at the moment. 4 types of boot, 3 types of shoe and a pair of sandals. I am hoping for some Made in England shoes for my birthday. I am a size 8 and so they are perfect as they fit me really well. I have worn them since I was 18 and I don't think I will ever stop. They have some great styles these days and there is something for every occasion. As my username says, I love them!

Oh nio, I can't find them a my local tk maxx and not online!!! I have the 14 hole in ox blood but I love them in black too! Would have been a steal at that price!! Aaaarrggh! Can't believe I've missed that!!!!

I have the Jenny / Juney boot too and they are absolutely fab, no breaking n and soooo snug!! Would def recmmend if you want a v v plain no nonesnse looking boot

Thanks Val, I was thinking that my friend might be interested, but she's just texted back to tell me that she bought a pair last week....from TKMaxx! £30 is an excellent price though, I agree with trying them on eBay - you'd get a better price I'm sure.

Nightwish (I LOVE your name!) aren't the Triumphs gorgeous? I must admit, I took the ribbons out of mine and put the normal laces in when I got them, but I saw a girl with the ribbons in not long ago and they looked great :)

Mignonette - I neeeeed those first ones linked to in your post, and a satchel or two. Argh, need to leave the thread I think!!

I still have the ribbons in MrsMeow, I will probably try to get some more too for when these ribbons die although I will still wear them with normal laces if I have to.
I just couldn't believe I didn't have to break them in, my old DM's took forever to get to the comfy worn in stage, but these were just instantly wonderful.

I don't tend to wear them folded down though, I'm not one for pink even if there isn't much!

Shame my closest TK Maxx is 30 miles away otherwise I would go look for that pair so I keep my Triumph's in better (non-muddy) condition.

BestEgg, I've never ebayed anything so far! May do these though if you say they could fetch a pretty penny or two And will reinvest it in a pair of DM's that actually fit and will get worn

I have erm 5 pairs of the 8 hole boots, in various colours. One pair of the purple triumph with floral lining, 2 pairs of DM sandals and 2 pairs of DM shoes. I looooove DM :o

Oh forgot I also have maroon 12 hole ones too

Freshletticiaandslugs my TK Maxx had lots of the Diva ones you linked to but only in cherry red. I persuaded someone who was trying them on to buy them, she looked fab. I didn't look at the price, but all the other styles were £30-£40.

I adore my DM 21 hole (i think), knee high...laced all the way. I wear them with my skinny cargoes for a 'kick ass mum' look

I have my eye on a pair of those ankle slouchy ones for this A/W though. We have a Scorpio in Newcastle and its DM heaven!!
