Come and talk me down - I actually considered buying 'full briefs' yesterday...

Blush Blush Blush

I desperately need some new knickers! I've dallied with barely diguised full briefs boy shorts but they are horribly wedgifying.

I have a very wobbly tummy and bottom that need constraining. Basically I need big pants that don't look like big pants (not the tummy sucking in ones, just regular every day ones).

Please can anyone advise....

Do it! They are soooo comfy! im still wearing my post csection granny pants from 2.5yrs ago

Llareggub · 26/04/2012 07:31

Do it! Big pants good, small pants bad.

AliceInordnung · 26/04/2012 07:33

I've worn big pants for decades even when I was underweight - really comfy!

jan2011 · 26/04/2012 07:35

i find the comfiest things are thongs which are 2 sizes too big and a nice material

warmandwooly · 26/04/2012 10:27

M and s ultimate knickers. Utilitarian but stays up and gives some support.

CMOTDibbler · 26/04/2012 10:29

Big pants rule ! You don't see men wearing pants that they aren't comfy in because they are 'more attractive' do you ? No. They wear nice, soft pants that don't go up their bum.

Chocafookinholic · 26/04/2012 11:35

LOL! Good point CMOT (sausageinnabun anyone?)

Thongs are a big NO (wobbly bottom as discussed)

Oh I so want to go granny pants but my mum wears them. Awful. My MUM!!

I LOVE a big pant, M&S do some nice ones. As long as they are not grey with bagging elastic all is good.

steben · 26/04/2012 11:43

Big pants rule - do it and live comfortably ever after

AgathaFusty · 26/04/2012 11:47

No, no, no. Not big pants. Your Mum wears them. That is enough reason not to.

CMOTDibbler · 26/04/2012 11:49

These are nice - the light control is comfy but wobble holding. Otherwise I wear the lycra multi pack ones.

Free yourself from the tyranny ! No one need know !

GwendolineMaryLacey · 26/04/2012 11:50

Oh God yes to big pants. One of the most satisfying moments of my life was when I took the plunge and fecked the mini/short/thong crap out of my drawer and bought big pants. Just don't get them in BHS. Then you absolutely will turn into your mother.

cocolepew · 26/04/2012 11:52

It's a yes from me, they're great. Just don't wear them with low slung jeans and a too short top Blush

ShatnersBassoon · 26/04/2012 11:55

I'm built for comfort, not speed, and my knickers need to reflect that. Big knickers are the foundation garment of champions.

Nagoo · 26/04/2012 11:58

I get mine from Matalan, they are lycra-y and so comfy I threw all my others in the bin. They are black and look new still are older than the paperboy, and he's retired

(you do have to change to an M&S cotton pant should the temp get about 25degrees. You know why)

StellaAndFries · 26/04/2012 12:01

I love big knickers, small knickers make me unreasonable and prone to violent outbursts.

ArtVandelay · 26/04/2012 12:02

If you get nice ones I think they DO look attractive! Much nicer than having a smaller pair either up your bum or coming down showing bum cleavage. I get M&S multipack ones and bin them as soon as they go sad. I love them, they look better under clothes and are sooo comfy.

iWILLdothis · 26/04/2012 13:15

Vajazzler, you just made my day....I was feeling bad still being in my post c/s big knickers after 6 months....so I can keep 'em for another 2 years then???!!! Grin

Chocafookinholic · 26/04/2012 13:18

I'm ignoring Agatha and am embracing the pants! I feel strangely free (and yet comfortably restrained). Thank you Grin

I recently bought a pack of M&S finest apple catchers because I was so fed up of always having one arse cheek hanging out of my other knickers.

OMG they are so comfy! I can Hoover & polish, clean the bathroom and do 50 lunges not really with no hint of movement from them.

They look fucking hideous though!

NewMatic · 26/04/2012 14:41

As I get older my pants get fancier. Live the Brazilian no vpl

lurkingaround · 26/04/2012 14:50

Is there no such thing as a comfy, reasonably (even not horrendous will do) attractive pants? Surely some clever someone has designed such a thing?? A fortune to be made.

sharedscitless · 26/04/2012 14:52

I love big pants and I cannot lie.

piprabbit · 26/04/2012 14:54

Love this thread. Tis a hymn to big pants - battle pants.

pocketandsweet · 26/04/2012 14:56

stellaandfries you made me laugh !
