Red, how awful, hope she gets well soon, poor little thing.

Mim, how are you feeling? Have you seen grey jeans you want? Harvey Nicks have Goldsigns in grey but they are almost £300 and I can't find them on a US site.

The Me and Em dress really is a winner.

I was ordering a few things for the DDs from Boden and this shirt and t-shirt fell into my basket.

notyummy · 20/02/2012 13:22

Oh Red - really hope she is ok soon. I can sooooo empathise with you as DD has been hospitalised a number of times as you know. Will keep my fingers crossed for you all.

IceCreamCastles · 20/02/2012 13:24

Oh no red- hope she picks up soon. How scary for all of you.

OllieinOrange · 20/02/2012 13:32

Icey do you think your little mistake this morning has anything to do with you going back to being blonde??? Welcome to my life which, as you all know, is full of little blonde moments.

Just me writing Kew Skirt should make you feel better!

Red, sending get well wishes to your lovely N. Poor little thing, she must be so frightened, not to mention shattered. Keep strong x.

Hopefully · 20/02/2012 14:28

Red poor DD, I hope she begins to feel a bit better very soon!

Dauphin · 20/02/2012 14:48

Rushing in to say hi...

Fab name your DD has Blue...Love it.

Hope DDs better Red. Poor things..scary stuff. Like to keep you on your toes don't they?

Oh Marsha if you see anything suitable let me know and vice versa....

Oh Homeland was great. Anyone else watch it? Mrscb? What did you think?

Am peed off with this weather. Obsessing over some white lace/cotton tops. Derhy have some lovely ones at the meoment... Can't link at the moment. Roll on spring....

MidnightinMoscow · 20/02/2012 16:31

Red, oh no how awful for you all. I do hope she is on the mend soon and home again. Lots of get well vibes from here too to DD. x

Icey, thats the sort of thing I'd do too. Grin

Very interested in the grey jeans scarf, will investigate the HN website. I am ok, I have dreadful sinus pain though. Had my head over a bowl of boiled water most of the day.

All these positive reports of the Me and Em are tempting me...

VerityBrulee · 20/02/2012 16:49

Red hope dd is better soon and they let you home. Ds1 was in hospital a lot when he was little with asthma, it was terrible.

Ollie, Mim, Scarf, Ants and everyone else feeling under the weather, hope you are all on the mend Thanks

Blue what a gorgeous name Smile

I woke up in one of those moods, argh. You know that way when you don't feel right but you don't know why? I made matters much worse by shopping for trousers. What was I thinking?? My body just wasn't designed for them. I want olive green straight legs, too much to ask it seems Hmm

I tried on this pretty blouse but I dithered and didn't buy. I think I'll go back for it. I might get my mum to copy it for me in cream.

Dauphin I couldn't agree more, I am so sick of winter!

Emo76 · 20/02/2012 17:00

oh no red - get well soon mini-red. xx

have jumped on bandwagon and ordered the me and em!

AntPants1 · 20/02/2012 17:15

red sending you all my best healing vibes. It's horrible when they are ill. Fingers crossed your DD feels better soon. X

MarshaBrady · 20/02/2012 17:18

Red how is dd? Hope she is feeling better very soon.

Dauphin sure will!

Hopefully · 20/02/2012 17:39

Emo glad to see the Me and Em love is spreading!

The second Muubaa jacket arrived today. Was crap. I was seriously underwhelmed with the cut, quality and colour of both the Muubaa jackets, actually. They are clearly very good at taking decent pictures of them for websites! And so my half-decade long leather jacket hunt continues. This search puts the Great Ankle Boot Hunt to shame Grin

Am having a very head-whirly day today. A possible business opportunity has come up, and it's got lots of huge pros and some fairly sizeable cons, but I can't decide which side outweighs the other! Keep going round and round and round it. Turning it down also kind of forces us into a different kind of a decision too. I need DH to recover so I can chat it through properly with him, as it will really affect us both. And I was feeling so zen after my nice weekend with my friend Smile

blossoming · 20/02/2012 17:51

Sorry to hear of your dd red. How are things now?
Hope you're coping as well as possible.

Sounds like we've had an unhealthy few weeks on this thread! Roll on spring. I think I saw a forecast for springlike weather this week. Still, it is only February. I have seen baby lambs though and snowdrops. Nice warm no-socks weather is a fair bit away though I think!

Have no idea what I need for my wardrobe. I wear so little of it now I'm working. I have new replacement agnes, and indigo 912's with the tags still on. It will be the usual dilemma of finding tops no doubt. Looking forward to 2 weeks off at Easter, so another 6 weeks to find suitable stylish attire.

Doing well on MFP today, so far. notyummy, the 1200 is for weight loss. Target weight in 5 weeks if I reach my daily target. Which I haven't yet! I think most healthy eating/diet books recommend keeping a food journal. This is what this is like, only it adds up the kcals too. Definitely keeps your hand out of the biscuit tin!

Russianred · 20/02/2012 18:13

Thanks lovely ladies - Dd responding well to treatment slowly, definitely in overnight and will see where we are tomorrow. She is a bit whacked out on her drug cocktail and needing lots of oxygen, bless her.

scarfaholic · 20/02/2012 18:23

Hope she has a good night and can go home tomorrow, Red.

Good luck with your decision, Hopefully.

I feel fine again, thanks Verity. And thinner, which is never bad. I had these olive jeans and stupidly sold them in a temper when they didn't fit me one week after DD2 was born. I am thinking of buying them again. Also, J Brand majors, how is the sizing, Emo?

notyummy · 20/02/2012 18:46

Fleecy - meant to say, thanks for the link to the discount designer swimwear place. It is a good link, but (maybe wrong time of year?) they only have 7 bikinis on there at the moment, and none are in my size. Also, they are all plain and I generally find a pattern breaks up my expanse of bottom a bit better Grin. Will keep on eye on it over the next couple of weeks in case anything else gets put on it. Will also have a look at MW.

loobylu3 · 20/02/2012 18:49

Sorry to hear about your DD, red and pleased she is improving. Hope you and she get some sleep tonight!

Fleecy · 20/02/2012 18:56

Gosh red that sounds terrifying. Glad she's doing well. They do like to keep us on our toes!

hopefully I got the navy same as you. Business opportunity sounds intriguing.

dauphin have recorded Homeland and planning to watch this evening.

Fleecy · 20/02/2012 18:58

Ah sorry about that ny I hadn't actually looked at the current selection! But it's comparatively bargainous and I have seen patterned ones before so definitely worth keeping an eye on it.

notyummy · 20/02/2012 18:59

Yes - we have recorded Homeland as well. Was watching The Walking Dead last night! Also there is a new Danish series starting on ITV 3 this week - Those Who Kill....with Troels (remember him?) from the first series of the Killing (whom I may have had a little crush on.....)

Hopefully · 20/02/2012 19:16

Red glad your DD is responding. Rubbish that she has to be in overnight, but obviously it's the best place for her.

Does anyone have any good shampoo/conditioner recommendations for a freaky oily yet sensitive scalp? I am sitting on an online basket containing a mix of kerastase, redken and bumble & bumble and not really sure what to go with. Have been using head and shoulders for a long time, but have started to be a bit sensitive to it, and would prefer something that actually cares for my hair a bit. Oh, and heat protector spray. I'm finding that thrice weekly blowdrying now that I have shorter hair is really taking it's toll on condition. Help!

MidnightinMoscow · 20/02/2012 20:03

Red, glad to hear she is improving. Hope you both manage to get some rest overnight.

Hopefully, I am intrigued as to what your business is. Its sounds very in demand...don't suppose its something a nurse can do? Grin I have heard good things about the Kerastase stuff for sensitive scalps.

I have left the bedroom to try and eat some dinner...looks like we are watching Brentford v Carlisle on sky sports...

Emo76 · 20/02/2012 20:14

scarfy J Brand majors sizing - I am a 14 and have size 31, could possibly go down a size as they do stretch a bit. Love them!
