I really want to know what's in the Feb Feel Unique box, but can't find out on the web. Someone spill the beans, please!

I got the same as Mrs Bovary was a bit disapointed, would prefer something bigger, the tiny sample things like you get in magazines or at beauty counters dont cut it for me Im afriad.

I prefered last months and most people didnt like that one, am contemplating cancelling to be honest.

PastGrace · 13/03/2012 12:03

covermeup I was thinking the exact same thing about the box not being tailored to anything in particular.

Also, although the box has a designer theme (and that's fine), I would prefer the samples to be high-end but affordable (I'm never going to spend £100 on a moisturiser, no matter how good it is, but for something utterly fantastic that lasts a while I would consider spending £40 or £50).

I'm giving glossybox one more chance, and then I'm cancelling.

Eek just looked up the sk-11 moisturier and a full size pot is £170!!

maz78 · 13/03/2012 15:08

Mrs Bovary, I'm so jealous of your Harrods Glossybox. I'd really like to try the cleansing oil, how disappointing. And the mascara would have been great! I don't understand why the selections are so random.

I got the one Stella and Fries received. I'm pleased about the hair oil but much less excited about the rest.

MrsBovary · 14/03/2012 18:35

I liked the Duwop venom lip gloss from last month's, after trying it that is.

I think this has been the best box so far. But I agree that some of the samples are tiny, only 4ml of the cleansing oil. The SK-II moisturiser is wonderful, though am surprised it is so expensive.

covermeup · 02/04/2012 11:02

Just got my SheSaid box!!

I have to say I wasn't really looking forward to it after reading what people got in last months box. But I'm so impressed!!

3 full sized products totalling £34, one small sample pot and a Body Expert kit with 6 samples in it. Also a bonus gift which had 5 samples in it! And a little chocolate egg!! It was all beautifully wrapped and the box filled with straw which made it feel all Eastery!

Now off to pamper myself... Grin

Has anyone had a payment taken for the next glossybox? Mine hasn't left my account and it normally has by now... The money is in my account, so it's not a problem there.

StellaAndFries · 03/04/2012 18:48

The FB page says they are starting to take payments from today but I cancelled today so was worried that they would still take it, so I emailed and they said they haven't taken all payments and mine was one that hadn't been taken yet.

PastGrace · 03/04/2012 22:14

Thanks - I just got an email saying mine's gone through. I'm thinking of cancelling after this box - I've been really disappointed in the last two.

Does anybody have the April Amarya box yet? If so, what did you get? I got my first box today and have got a bottle of argan oil and two small sachets. Just wondering if everybody gets the same? I'm trying to work out if I'm happy or disappointed...

titan · 13/04/2012 14:35

I got the same. I'm not overly wowed by it either but it's okay. I paid £100 for a year's subscription so around £8 per month. The oil is supposedly worth £20 and I had been wanting to try using a hair oil anyway.

I cancelled my joliebox after the first one arrived in February as I was unimpressed by the small sized products. However after actually trying them I found I really liked the so thinking about starting subscribing again. That's much more expensive though at £15 including postage.

hiviolet · 13/04/2012 20:09

I got the same from Amarya. I don't think the contents of their boxes vary at all. I'm happy enough with it, have been putting the argan oil on my face the last couple of nights.

msbuggywinkle · 13/04/2012 20:12

Same here from Amarya, I liked the box, although I don't use conditioner. The Argan oil is great on my eczema!

NewGirlInTown · 13/04/2012 23:20

Got a message today to say Glossy Box not being sent out until 26 April! That seems very late to me! Anyone doing any better?

covermeup · 14/04/2012 09:57

Yep I got an email saying my Glossybox will be dispatched on the 25th :( At least we won't have to wait too long for the one after that though!

Bienchen · 14/04/2012 14:39

Got my Amarya box, same content as other subscribers. I think I will cancel my subscription as I don't think it is worth it. The argan oil can be bought for about £6.50 plus £1.99 postage on Ebay and the two sachets are not any different from what you get in a magazine. I don't even like argan oil and won't use this!

Belo · 16/04/2012 13:55

I'm now feeling more positive about the Amarya box. The Argan oil has done wonders for the eczema around my eye. But, will hunt on eBay to see if I can get the same oil for my brother who also suffers from eczema.

But, it is a gamble. Do you only get one product each month? £10 for something you may or may not like is a bit of a gamble. I was going to cancel but they've already taken the money for the May box. In fact, they took it before I even opened my April box! A bit cheeky if you ask me.
