I'm really tempted to try ones of these. Anyone recommend Glossy Box, Boudoir Prive, Feel Unique or similar? I keep reading beauty blogs to see which is best.

nanny - no, I put my details on their website but didn't subscribe as I thought the refresh and recover looked pretty rubbish. But they sent me an email with a special box offer (with the things that i put in my post) for £5.95 plus PandP (I think).

If you are interested in it inbox me your email addy and I can forward the email (should work).

o.k., got the second Carmine Box. major disappointment.

Tiny sample of skin oil (like you'd get for free)

Tiny sample of rose cream (again, the size you would get as a free sample)

Cheap fake lashes (no thanks)

Eye stick (kind of thick eye shadow pencil) which arrived broken in two!

Bag of Himalayan salt (not even enough for 1 bath, according to the himalaya salt recommendation....)

What a con.

Will give it one more chance though. If the next one is rubbish I am out!

Tried getting onto Feelunique to see if the February boxes have been sent yet, but can't get onto their website at all. Is it just me or have they disappeared?!

Thanks dingdong at least they're still there. Just tried again and keep getting Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. Anyone know what's in this month's box?

Just got the January glossybox and I'm pretty disappointed. However, I only paid £8 for it so can't complain too much. However, I have a cunning plan!! I will cancel my subscription and then re-sign with my code and get the Feb box for £8 too...whahahaha!!! Have just emailed their customer service to find out when I can sign up for Feb.

The Murad primer is nice though...

Chandon it came with a card saying I had alor of points or something?? Confused Todays was my first box.

It was just so pretty with the box and the tissue and the plush ribbon. So girlie, I luff all that shizzle.

Chandon I got the same as you in my Carmine box, I'm going to have February's to see what that is like and then decide if to cancel it.

My GlossyBox also came today and I have the Eyeko skinny eyeliner in emerald green, orly nail varnish, weleda one step cleanser and toner, FAB body wash and Murad primer which I'm most excited about trying.

I'm looking forward to seeing what's in February's boxes and deciding which box to keep subscribing to.

So far I'm loving the face oil, a little goes a long way and I like the rollerball applicator. Not sure about the Weleda cleanser and toner, it smells very strongly of lavender which isn't one of my favourite smells in the world and it's quite stingy, it did remove my make up well though and my flesh or so it feels.

Stupid question - do the boxes fit through the letter box or do you have to be in to take delivery of them?

They are too big for postbox, just smaller than a shoebox. My postie left mine outside Shock

I'm waiting for my Feel Unique one. I am 22.

They let you put down preferences and skin type etc so they can match boxes to you (so they say). Are you sure everyone gets the same thing?

My glossybox arrived today. The primer was too dark for me, and the emerald green eyeliner wasn't really my taste (dd has tried it, however). But I've filled in preferences and skin tone/type for next time. The nail varnish looks ok, will be interested to try..

Got the Carmine box today and it is just as I thought - no good at all. The eyeko pencil looks alright but everything else is just too small. So - my plans for them are:
Eyelashes (will stay in reserve for a girly night out)
Salt (will crush up and mix with elemis fangipani monoi oil to turn into a scrub)
Oil (will just use on my cuticles-nothing is replacing my decleor!)
Moisturiser (will use on my neck or hands)

Will see how Febs box is but again, I'm going to cancel and the re-order so that I don't pay full price.

Postie has just arrived with my Feb Feel Unique box. Won't spoil the surprise for others just now, but I absolutely love it! Much better than the January Carmine.

Will post short review in a week or so when i've had a chance to use the products.
