snort @ camel toe!, not that i've noticed but i'll ask dh to double check Wink

but i did wear them under a dress/tunic.

TracyK · 13/01/2012 13:33

My parcel has arrived - the jumpers are lovely - beautiful and soft. The crepe trousers are lovely too - really quite different to my usual leggings look.

trixymalixy · 13/01/2012 13:57

The L fits me and I'm a 14, but maybe slightly too big on top.

trixymalixy · 13/01/2012 13:58

Still no sign of my parcel, it's supposedly out for rede livery today.

snowballinashoebox · 13/01/2012 14:22

My parcel was delivered and signed for by someone else 4 days agoSad
Yodel have 48 hours to interview the driver and see where it went.

TattyPole · 13/01/2012 16:05

Sparklegeek sorry for late reply- it's Roebuck. Was sad to see it go but it looked awful on me. I sent it today so fingers crossed for you spotting it next week.

Sparklegeek · 13/01/2012 16:15

Thanks Tatty, aarrgghghh, the pressure! That should be fun, trying to get hold of one blimmin dress that the whole interweb has access to...Hmm And even then I don't know if it'll fit!

trixymalixy · 13/01/2012 16:40

Well my parcel wasn't really worth the wait. I think most of it'll be going back.

The hide bag was a bit meh, and the twist jersey dress made me look like I have no waist, which is a shame as at £16 it was a bargain!

trixymalixy · 13/01/2012 16:44

Oh an interestingly the returns label says postage not paid on it, whereas my other parcel had a proper returns label with it.

ThatVikRinA22 · 13/01/2012 16:59

YAY!!! Grin

the medium birdy dress fits!!!! (almost....but im aiming to lose another 7lb so it will do!! Grin

ive put pics on my profile as i would like opinions on the coat please ladies

dd says i should keep
im not so sure

would you mind telling me what you think about the coat please....

Geordieminx · 13/01/2012 17:00

My black finchley has arrived, and I love it.

Have pencilled it for a wedding at the end of March I think.

It's a wee bit tight, just where the band under the bust is but am on diet and it's period week so hopefully it will be all good.

Any ideas on ways to dress it up? Colour of clutch/shoes?

Trix you need a hobo in oak with matching purse Grin

cornastasiaski · 13/01/2012 17:03

vicar that dress looks stunning!
coat looks nice I think

ThatVikRinA22 · 13/01/2012 17:11

thank you corn - i really wasnt expecting it to fit, and i was so disappointed when the L was too big so i am now like Grin !! i had my heart set on it.

When i first tried the coat on i decided to send it back....but DD kept saying keep it, so i just tried it on again

the waist is high but im only short so perhaps it will be ok, it fastens up ok without pulling or anything, just felt a bit of an odd fit....i think i need to try it with a jumper dress or something a bit thicker and see if it still feels ok. Plus it will cost a sodding fortune to send back....its heavy!

trixymalixy · 13/01/2012 17:12

What size did you get Geordie? I'm wondering whether to get a medium as everyone who got a large said it was too big and now I'm wondering whether I'm wearing a too big dress!

Can't stretch to a mulberry bag at the moment sadly! Although probably if I sent back all my sale purchases I could Grin!!

Vicar, the coat and dress are both lovely.

daenerysstormborn · 13/01/2012 17:12

vicar, dress looks fab on you. like the coat too.

ThatVikRinA22 · 13/01/2012 17:25

do you know up until this year i never thought i could wear a dress....but i do think that one is a keeper! i just wish theyd had the medium in the black, the black one was gorgeous but mahoosive on me.

need to decide fairly quickly on the coat but it is actually so cheap i am sooooo tempted even if it is a bit flary around the skirt....

will decide once and for all tomorrow. (im crap at decisions!)

Ungratefulchild · 13/01/2012 17:28

My Fincley Park dress arrived today. The colour is nothing like the website and it looks enormous (M). Not tried it on yet, too scared it will look shit :)

cornastasiaski · 13/01/2012 17:33

is it blue? I was going to order one of those

cornastasiaski · 13/01/2012 17:34

oh no I was thinking of the noella Confused

Geordieminx · 13/01/2012 17:37

L Blush

trixymalixy · 13/01/2012 17:43

Mine are L too. I thought we were a similar size so if you had bought a M I thought it would fit me too, wishful thinking I guess!!

Sparklegeek · 13/01/2012 17:58

I'm gonna have a tantrum in a minute if everyone else now has a Finchley that fits except me Envy

Ungratefulchild · 13/01/2012 18:07

Have tried it on. Fits very well (medium, I'm 5' 5" size 10 bottom/12 top), bit strange about the neck?

trixymalixy · 13/01/2012 18:09

Keep an eye on eBay. There's a finchley skirt on there atm and also a full pleated dress in a 10, can't remember who was looking for that....

ThatVikRinA22 · 13/01/2012 18:14

my 2 large finchleys were odd around the neck, but the M sits exactly as it should,

Ungrateful - could it be the way its been packed? it should just sort of be a 'flap' that sits to one side or the other....

now i must not take another look at the website....anyway - most of the good stuff must be sold out by now....vowed not to even look...
