Oh dear, I didn't notice about not using the labels to return sale goods. Wonder what will happen? I suppose the worst they could do is deduct the postage from the refund, or were there any other dire warnings I failed to spot?

vonnyh · 11/01/2012 20:58

I have used the prepaid label for return goods and had a full refund.

PattiMayor · 11/01/2012 21:00

Thanks trixy :)

OhBuggerandArse · 11/01/2012 21:05

Thanks, vonny, fingers crossed!

louby78 · 11/01/2012 21:12

snowmaiden you look fab in those things! Are you keeping all? What have you got on with the melbourne oversized jumper - leggings? Cos that looks nice and I've got one of those coming. So excited for tomorrow. Please fit! (I keep wanting to put a kiss at the end of these posts!)

Thank you thank you OP, I ordered the knitted maxi dress in two colours. Its lovely (and mid calf on me which is exactly what I'd hoped). Bargain.

snowmaiden · 11/01/2012 21:20

Hi, yes, I am just wearing black leggings, need to get some thicker ones though as I wouldn't want to scare anyone in public as these ones seem to be a bit see-through for such a short jumper, that's why I was wondering if anyone had tried the treggings?

I am not sure about the stripey dress! that may be going back as it shows my saggy tummy too much for my liking.

louby78 · 11/01/2012 21:36

Well I liked the striped dress. Thought it suited you. If you're conscious of your tummy would a thick belt around your middle hide it? I do that if I'm a bit bloated!

trixymalixy · 11/01/2012 21:37

I like the black dress with sparkly bits too Snowmaiden, may have to have a look online at that....

ThatVikRinA22 · 11/01/2012 22:14

so vonny - did you pay for the returns?

i am worrying about the cost of sending this little hoard back....but i have read that sale stuff should be sent back registered post to a different address to the one on the returns label.....

what is everyone else doing about returns? paying or using the prepaid label?

Sparklegeek · 11/01/2012 22:27

Hell, I'm using the labels! The first thing I returned didn't have a label in the paperwork so I paid. But the last couple of parcels have, & I now have at least one return to make. If they deduct the postage from my refund then I'm in no worse a position than I would be had I paid the postage up front!

MummyAnnabella · 11/01/2012 22:35

Rene - sorry but yes the full pleated in m. Website kept crashing so I phoned to order. Can remember when I ordered but was near start of this thread and when I phoned today she said maybe tmw. Glad someone likes it as nonone mentioned it and I thought you all hated it! Now going o check out famille but ordering no more!!

snowmaiden · 11/01/2012 23:05

I didn't get a returns label in my parcel, nothing, not even a delivery note or information on how to return! Is this normal, or did they just omit it from mine?

ThatVikRinA22 · 11/01/2012 23:57

think they must have forgotton yours snow the label is attached to the delivery note, you peel it off and restick it.

i dont think i can use the label though knowing you are not meant to - i will have guilt.

Trumpton · 12/01/2012 00:05

I have received treggings (fab ) 2 basic tshirts (fab ) Sparkle dress ( love it at that price but wouldn't have paid full price ) and 2 tassel handbags. One will have to go back as I been charged for both. Very pleased with all my buys.

ThatVikRinA22 · 12/01/2012 01:41

what colour tassel handbag trumpton?

NanBullen · 12/01/2012 07:58

I sent my noella dress back last friday by recorded delivery, didn't use the returns label. I asked for a small instead but haven't heard anything. i checked on the post office website and it's been delivered. Hmm might phone gp today.

ChablisLover · 12/01/2012 09:42

Bad Chablis

Loving the finchley park dress. Got it in roebuck
Also loving everything else I ordered which is bad as I planned to send most of it back.Blush

May also have ordered the tassel handbag but I won't tell if you don'tGrin

Sparklegeek · 12/01/2012 09:46

Oh no, have just done ANOTHER order Shock They seem to have some more sizes of various things back in. I really have got to wean myself off of the GP site! I have even ordered another Finchley Park dress, they didn't have any S so I've gone for another M just in case the sizing comes up differently, Vicar you said you had that happen didn't you? I am living in hope here as I can't understand why my M seems to be coming up soooo much bigger than Snowmaiden's!

Optimism · 12/01/2012 10:01

I ordered the full pleated dress and had high hopes for it. Just excitedly went to try it on and - well, it took a large amount of effort and contortion to actually get into it, once on the bodice and skirt were a lovely shape but the neckline was really wonky (the straight bit across the boobs was on a slant and the two sides were completely different shapes if you know what I mean). It is also extremely difficult to lift one's arms above waist height while wearing it due to rather restrictive cut of sleeves. Getting it off again was even more difficult than getting it on (again, due to fit of sleeves) - I thought I was going to have to wait for DH to get home to help me get out of it which would have meant painting the dining room in it but luckily managed it in the end. Sadly it will be going back. :( Is it just me? Has anyone had more luck with this dress?

MummyAnnabella · 12/01/2012 10:42

optimism my full pleated came today. Got it on okay but was a struggle to get off. Think I could prob live with it as not everyday dress. My neckline looked okay but reading your post I am going try it on again later. I thought it was lovely and great material for the price. It's so my style.

My only real issues are is it really flattering - is the waist slightly too high? Also does the fullness make me look bigger. Am half stone heavier at the mo than usual weight so maybe I am paranoid! Will try later with proper shoes.

Prob is I ordered 3 dresses intending to send one or two back but like both I ave got so far.

ReneandGeorgetteMagritte · 12/01/2012 10:47

Optimism I wanted that dress in a medium but it had sold out.
Louby is going to let me know if she wants to keep hers.
What size did you get and what size are you if you don't mind me asking?
I am v flat chested size 10 on top, I love the shape of the top but do have another similar dress and know that it is an awkward shape for raising arms (no mexican waves in it), so was going for a bigger size.

ReneandGeorgetteMagritte · 12/01/2012 10:51

Optimism if yours is a medium (or even a large maybe? What do we think of the sizing- I do like this style loose aswell) could I ask that you don't send yours back until louby has tried hers on later? I might have it from you if louby keeps hers
