Waaaaaah, think my M is too big! (Am a 12, everything else from GP in a M has been fine grrrrr), again it's the top being a bit loose which is a bit given my 34DD's! I am also losing weight at the mo so the sensible half of my brain says send it back, the other half says it's so nice keep it as no doubt the weight will go back on again haha!

I haven't had a despatch email yet and ordered on Sat .

snowmaiden, i wouldn't worry, i ordered last thurs and only got a dispatch email yesterday, they seem quite slow.

well i will shortly have 2 L in both colours going back.

so its not just me then - they are coming up big. purlease let my M roebuck arrive....i will settle for just 1 that fits.

Hmmm,having now seen the dress I'm not too sure on what shoes/tights! In fact that may be the deciding factor in me returning it, combined with the size issue. It's not so much of a bargain if I have to go out & buy a pair of shoes is it? And grey isn't really going to go, which is what I was hoping. Am off upstairs to have another look!

My Roebuck is here, I love the pattern although agree no grey to be seen really. As with everyone else the top is too big, the waist is a good fit but def a bit of room around the bottom of it too. I am I would say a slightly large 10 and have a S. Not sure whether I should have a try of a XS and see or if waist too tight. Do you think these would work or too much brown going on?

What colour is the Roebuck exactly?, I thought it looked brown on the website when I ordered it. What about turqoise tights?

Or how about sheer nude tights and brown shoes??? or boots???

well, the lady grey dress fits well, am a 12 and ordered an m, nice length too. not tried on the leggings yet.

I would say the roebuck is brown. IMHO brown or nude shoes, with invisible nude tights or bare legs?

Isn't the dress meant to be big at the top so that the cowl neck and shoulders drape nicely?

There's big n there's big though....the drape on me showed my bra, and was so big at the back I looked hunched! I had brown tights n boots on when I tried it and brown looked fine. If the M is ok I'll wear brown with it....

I would agree with that chilledmomma, it is supposed to be loose and drapey.

Chilledmomma, yes but there's draping & there's too big! I have other GP tops with a drape & they are fine. This just seems to have a bit of an excess of material. I need another woman's opinion I think. Am not sure DH, even if he here, would 'get' the drape/fit quandary!

The roebuck Finchley is definately braawn, although the roebuck Melbourne knit I have is aubergine .

I'm coming round to nude tights/shoes.

I have v big boobs though, so that's fine by me!

French Connection styles are often a bit like this too- the trousers can seem too big but they are meant to sit on your hips rather than your waist, the tops quite often have a v draped effect which is spoilt if the material is being pulled too tight. Maybe try it on again in the morning? It's such a lovely print, if they run out of stock before mine arrives I might have a little cry...

That's exactly how I feel, gutted gutted gutted it's not a perfect fit :(

the arm holes on mine were literally hanging - and the drape went down to show my bra, it was very volumous but too big, not just drapey. Even DH said it looked too big, and it wasnt remotely flattering, just too big! i went back to look at how it draped on the model and mine was just too big. i am gutted. im even more gutted that the M in black has sold out, as the black would have been so lovely for wearing to go out. Not sure if the M will fit around the waist, but i am dieting (doing WW!) and aim to lose a total of 12lb so it may just do the trick!

i ll see if i get the medium first, it may have sold out by the time i get it despatched.

im most interested in the coat, from what others said about the fit. im a bit that most of mine has gone back from this second order.
