Babyliss Big Hair making my hair static - what am I doing wrong?

Title says it all really! Any ideas why it's becoming more static and flyaway? My hair was practically dry when I used it, I didn't add product.

I have the same problem so watching with interest for replies!

I was told to use it with 80% dry hair and use small sections. I used serum as normal.

No joy - flyaway bouffant instead!

this thread contains links for BBH tutorials so I'm going to check those out this evening. Just going through other threads to see if I can find anything else helpful :)

I coat my hair in a styling cream first and dry in small sections when it is quite damp. Takes longer this way, but you get a better result.

this contains more links for videos showing us HOW to do it

also found this thread where people aren't loving the BBH

From reading through various S&B threads on using a BBH they seem to say what SoFreshNSoClean just said. So I'll try using more product and smaller sections. I am impatient and I fear my sections so far haven't been small enough cos I just want it all done and to go about swishing Wink

There have been recommendations for using Moroccan Oil (expensive and overrated according to my SIL), John Freida Frizzease (got that already and still staticy so clearly need something else as well!) and Toni & Guy root boost moose in a red can.

Right I've been practising with mine, using plenty of product and small sections, AND holding the section being BBH'd away from the rest of your head (to prevent it bringing up the rest of your hair into a static-inducing tangle!) seems to do the trick. Today I have swished Wink
