First time Ive shopped with them. The Tate dress is lovely but a little snug around the bust and I sized up to a 16! I think I will have to wear it without a bra but I dont know how appropriate this might be Smile, Lovely colours though and shape.

I just have to decide.....

My package arrived at half 7 this morning! Beautifully packaged and both the Stella dress and Elenor red dress fit perfectly- although am going to get Elenor taken up to more or less knee length. Gorgeous quality.

NanAstley · 07/05/2011 11:16

Just got mine too, but I'm not going to open it till I have a quiet moment. It's so beautifully packaged though. I can't wait to try it on :)

Dozer · 07/05/2011 11:22

Mine came too, esme, is too small (was over-optimistic ordering a 12!) but don't like it anyway, v shiny fabric and clanking metal flowers, fabric isn't like it looked on the website. nevermind.

v nice packaging.

kitkatya · 07/05/2011 11:29

beautiful packaging. Please tell me they come up small or else my diet isnt going as well as I thought it is!!!

Got mine about an hour ago. Love the stella dress. Yes great packaging.

LaurieFairyCake · 07/05/2011 11:45

I love my Esme dress ! It is a darker 'nude' than on the Internet, more like a 'mink' - I like the flowers too, very unusual.

I sized down to a 16 (usually an 18 or 20) as I wanted tight.

Dh said it was very, very sexy Grin

FebreezeYourJeans · 07/05/2011 11:54

OOH Hope mine comes today, perhaps I should stay in - just in case :) I'm a 12/14 glad I opted for the 14s by the sound of it

TotallyUtterlyDesperate · 07/05/2011 12:33

Got mine, but ordered both a size too small. Also realised that I was in a fantasy world when I ordered them. I am far too old at 54 to be wearing dresses like these :(

Pinkflipflop · 07/05/2011 12:42

Don't worry totallyutterlydesperate I ordered one too and it's going back!!

I'm 31 and think i was living in a fantasy world too!!

kitkatya · 07/05/2011 12:48

which ones did you order?

FebreezeYourJeans · 07/05/2011 12:50

where's my package (sob)

Pinkflipflop · 07/05/2011 12:53

i ordered this thought it was lovely and chic and elegant but when it came I felt it was a bit much for me and tbh it looks a little frumpy. Guess I don't have anywhere to wear it Sad

TotallyUtterlyDesperate · 07/05/2011 13:02

I ordered the Elenor in red and the Autumn Leaf. Used to wear very daring stuff - but probably 20 years ago! Have just lost 2 stones due to illness over the last year and thought I might get away with something nice - but I don't think so.

Rexy · 07/05/2011 13:02

Anyone got the Stella dress

I am a size 12 in Phase Eight so is their sizing the same ??

winefairy · 07/05/2011 13:07

Febreeze, I hear your sobs and will join you for a little weep if you don't mind. Mine not arrived either although not so excited now the general consensus appears to be they run a little small. Ooops!

AlpinePony · 07/05/2011 13:13

Mine not here yet either although I xp live in Holland. Wtf happened to the thread the other day? I woke up and it was gone and I was looking forward to seeing what everyone chose.

I'm hoping my eleanor in red is Jessica rabbit for the over 35's! Bit worried about sizing although I checked their sizing chart.

FebreezeYourJeans · 07/05/2011 13:35

Winefairy and Alpine Pony lets sob together into our Wine

FebreezeYourJeans · 07/05/2011 13:42

AAAAHHHHHH 3 big flat boxes have just arrived, racing upstairs to try on and willing your postie on too Grin

TotallyUtterlyDesperate · 07/05/2011 13:49

Update: just tried them on for DH & he loves them! So will order in size bigger after all :) Maybe I'm not past it!

DS (18) approved too!!!!

AlpinePony · 07/05/2011 14:01

Woooh for totallyutterly!

febreeze doorbell just went, alas only amazon. You can't wear books and dvd's.

Ilythia · 07/05/2011 14:03

OOh, just spotted this thread and am on website atm looking for dress for wedding that I have to look uber stylish at.
WIll have toddlers etc with me and am very large boobed 18-20 (but have 2 months to slim)
Was thinking of the esme or the autumn leaf, which is better for summer wedding iyo?

FebreezeYourJeans · 07/05/2011 14:04

So, the results are in from the febreeze jury;

Audrey coat in camel - gorgeous! Fits like a dream, a great coat for an hour glass and the price Smile oh the price Grin

Ava cardigan - fine, a useful slip over

Jasmine dress - I think I love it. I don't usually wear such a high neck as I have norks in abundance, but I think the change in fabric stops it being matronly. A real 'wiggle dress'

Nena trousers - Hmmm, wider than I thought, and a hint of a camel toe. I wouldn't have bought these if I'd tried them on in a shop. Will try on again later and make a final decision.

Bella Treggings - Again, hmmmm not convinced about the fabric, they almost feel jodhpur-y. Trying to picture Winter with dresses/tunics. It's a maybe.

TotallyUtterlyDesperate · 07/05/2011 14:04

Autumn leaf is lovely, but v shiny material and would be too hot for a summer wedding IMHO!

winefairy · 07/05/2011 14:27

Febreeze- I had just fetched the corkscrew and hankies! Glad yours arrived though and may I say I have serious Audrey envy! Could actually be described as Acute Audrey Envy. Blush They didn't have any left in size 12 but maybe I could have ordered the 14 if they run a little small. I notice they still have some left. Should I? And loved the Jasmine but again same problem with the size 12.

Alpine Pony- Just you and me now. Scotland and Holland. Obviously too far for an Elenor to travel in one day.

And yeah for totallyutterly and her change of heart. Bet you look fabulous.

kitkatya · 07/05/2011 14:28

theyre all quite dark arent they? I think I can get away with dress in Morocco as the orange brightens it up abit. Im still undecided about the tightness around the bust.
