Just got my Damsel in a Dress package, did anyone else?

First time Ive shopped with them. The Tate dress is lovely but a little snug around the bust and I sized up to a 16! I think I will have to wear it without a bra but I dont know how appropriate this might be , Lovely colours though and shape.

I just have to decide.....

I have to say the Jessica in Red is gorgeous on - makes me feel very elegant and the dress flatters enormously. I just cant decide if it is too dressy for this wedding we are going to in September. I also have a ball coming up (not sure when) and it will be perfect for that.

I have fire cracker, gold Jasmine and black jessica in a 16 if anyone is interested.

Sized up and are too big.

Let's beg them to re-instate the sale ... sniff

Georgdie did you like them anyway? I bet if you ring them they will swap. There was loads of stuff left when they meanly stopped the sale.

Jessica is fine, may keep, but being a short arse will need to see if local miseable cow dressmaker can take it up.

love the Jessica, looks fab on, though i thought it a bit big in a 12, sent other 3 back.

I'm really disappointed - except for two cardies I'm sending everything back. I'm pear shape and all the dresses I chose accentuated my hips, whilst the wrap one didn't drape well across my chest. Considered the coat, but dh, when asked, said it made me look like a flasher. A fat flasher. So coat back, and diet commencing with immediate effect.

I'm sending mine back too. I got the Stella Dress. I'm between sizes and the one that fit me best made my tits look smaller, and my waist and hips look bigger. Not a winning combo! The swathes of overlay material made me look even chunkier than I do in real life .

The tate dress was out of stock . I am umming and aahing about the Otis jacket - it is beautifully cut and finished, but it has rather large shoulderpads. After canvassing my 14 year old DD for advice, she says shoulder pads are very "now", and assured me that I don't look like a sad 80's throwback.
The pandora top is beautiful; gorgeous pattern and good fit over my norks.

did you all see that they have another sale on? Anyone but the Robyn dress before?

Hmmm, the dresses look lovely but I have to say, they seem a bit pricey for what they are. I would rather hire from a designer dress hire website, and pay the same amount to hire a fabulous dress that's good quality, than get a dress that's sort of average which I'm paying quite a lot for. that's why I'm a fan of girlmeetsdress, who do dresses from 6 -16.
